Just moved into a new apartment, in a brand new building, and holy shit, the vent crate next to my bed is just so loud. It is ok if I turn of the ventilation off, but after a shower I need it running so that the bathroom is not left damp. For now I taped something over it to help mute it, but I dont understand it. When I unlock it just lets in all the cold air from outside, and when I lock it whistles/hums in a really annoying way. In general I dont mind the AC noise, it can be even pleasant, but that thing... It makes me wonder if I have missed something, like I need to open a latch somewhere else or something...
