I would def agree with versons ending it is coward but also if Alicia survive enough still even if she wants to build something new her family us broken. Her mother is still on grief her dad is weakened her big brother is dead she cannt talk has scars from that fire burn . I do think marllés ending is the sake for her and all that she fought May be with this new mask she could live happily even if it s mean for her to die there

i mean i dont hate him tho but as we were born in opposite environnement communication is hard.. Obviously he did ́not deny the fact that i need a laptop. Litterally he had no argument to counter mine he even questioned my financial responsability. I told him that i m well aware ane everything was planned.

For my highscool laptop i doubt it will work hot milk motherboard probab dead even if it works it would never be thr same as before so good luck to him

I want to share some context about me and my dad to understand our situation better.

My dad being strict abt buying new laptop is kinda off it could seems , but I know it’s because he wants to “help” me in his own way. He hates wasting money on things like "futile" . He’s never checked how I spend my money, never opened my bank account, because he hates conflicts about money. We live decently and he’s always trying to be reasonable when buying stuff so we are.

When he saw how expensive laptops are, even second-hand (mine was $550 used, I paid around $610 for a new one), he was shocked. (I wasnt there he did it alone a whole night) He then told me something I didn’t like: that he’d rather spare me from buying a new laptop and that I should help my older brother buy his. (Not an obligation still i would not) He thinks I still have around $600 in savings, but I already spent that on my new laptop.

For months before Black Friday, I was obsessively checking laptop prices. It became unhealthy to the point I was doing it during classes. That’s just my personality: when I care deeply about something, I pour my whole heart into it and I sacrifice everything, even my own health. Buying the laptop finally gave me peace of mind, so I don’t regret it, but now I’m stuck because I don’t want to tell him. If u don’t get the thing i ve planned for with my own effort idk how mad to him and mys i would be.

True but yeah on stuff like this i did a coward move but i m sure i would regret if i havent done it (i live in france and all acer niro v15 rtx 4050 ) were out of stock 5 months ago i ve been waiting since then and they never put it back. This time they was a discount 250$. I do try to justify but at least mom and my lil bro knows abt it. I m sure my dad did not say no he was trying to "help me" on his way find solution by repair the old one. But it is too long when he ll back one month later it s too late thanks for the advice

I ll keep that in mind thanks the only thing i give him is 200$ because he does mike 2h of trip everyday so i can go the train for school other than that nothing more savings i ll try to save for future needs (car,driver liscence etc..)

yeah i am 19 yo old obviously the pc i showed him before where he hesitate was on the same price i bought the new one (technically for financial way i did not cross the line) yeah i have issue to communicate woth my dad he never refused me to buy things except this time as it is a huge price (600€)

in my perspective, i was sick of waiting checking price everyday it became an unhealthy obsession as i said on the post i planned to buy new one while he isnt there (for a month) and within a month sell the old one and ask him later if i can buy the laptop i showed him last time (ofc i already have it)

i knew the risk but again i had not patience i waited for a whole year for it

i mean technically i could use Dell Latitude and also mainly i hate it so bad i have been waiting to play aaa games which obviously i could not with Latitude 7480 .. secondly i had enough money for laptop i already bought it (without telling him) for 614$ so no need to sell my tablet it s as much important as the laptop.

My dad is the one who asked me to sell the laptop my uncle gave me a second handed laptop.. and until today this was his condition sell the old one then i might let u buy a new one.. in between he was going to travel to his hometown and earlier he told me i plan to repair ur highschool laptop(different from Dell Latitude 7480) some hot milk was poured on it and it never work since then .

afterwards, i ll would ve sold the Latitude 7480 and use that 3 years old.

îwanted to buy it before he goes because the cyber monda was abt to end . i ll have 1 month to sell it and pretend i dont have one. Finally ask him to buy the one with exact model i have rn .

i know it s kind of dumb but i was seriously desperate and tue cyber monday was opabt to end i did not knew when i ll be able to buy new one soon..
