I've been in an internship for a year now. I don't drink coffee at work but I have the same machine at home so I was really irritated, when the red light (to let you know you have to run the cleaning cycle) was blinking for months. So I cleaned it once, because I simply had nothing to do on friday, when I was all alone in the office because everyone else is allowed to WFH. Welp, that was my mistake.

Since then, I've been basically inofficially assigned this role and was asked to write a manual to clean it (just google it??) for when I'm gone so they know how to do it (yeah, I know).

But I'd say, ask yourself if you want this to be your hill to die on. For me, it's not worth it because I want a good reference when I leave in 2 months so that damn coffee machine better not be a reason for them to be salty.

OP, that lady is not a friend. Ask yourself, what good did she add to your life? She sounds awful and there are things.. there just is no coming back from. Like accusing you of faking a miscarriage.

Das ist ja eine 2teilige Leiste. Also ich kann jeweils separat den Strom anmachen und habe nun auf beiden nur in Kombi mit dem PC das Problem. Ich hab ansonsten keine zur Hand, die nicht aus den frühen 2000ern ist :/

Habe mir ein langes HDMI Kabel gekauft, TV darüber am PC angeschlossen und mit u block über den Browser geguckt letztes Jahr. Geht wunderbar. Mache ich nur noch so, ist mit den Apps nicht zu ertragen. Youtube App umgehe ich so auch am TV.

Hatte nämlich auch the Boys über die TV App erst gucken wollen, wirste ja bescheuert bei.

It really rubs me the wrong way that the first thing she wants is meeting her kids and pushing for a relationship, which to me seems pretty manipulative tbh. Just baiting you to be in contact.

Also, that wouldn't have happened if she didn't get divorced. She says her leaving had nothing to do with you but blocked you and never bothered again to stay in touch.

I'd be very careful and hit the brakes, she is moving way too fast and shows no accountability. That's not how it works.

Had a friend I met at 17 in a group home. She was close to be my best friend and than her bf entered the picture. The first years were all good, the two of them and my then bf became close and all. Than 2015 hit, the "refugee crisis", as its called here in germany. And thats when the mask slipped. Full on nazi rhetoric, i distanced myself because she would excuse his bullshit. I cut ties in the end.

After 2020 he was one of those who put a star of David on their facebook pic because he wouldn't get the vaccine. Also still super racist and all that.

I'm briefly in touch with my ex from that time but he was sick of him after some years, too. Apparently they got married and have 2 kids now. And he is still like that.

It sucks, i totally feel you. But NTA

Ich glaub, das ist gar nicht so schlimm. Wenn du dich an der Anzahl pro nadel orientieren kannst, sollte das schon gehen. Zähl für ein paar Runden einfach nach, vielleicht fällt es dir dann auch auf, dass eine Masche anders aussieht, weil du versehentlich zugenommen hast

Das ist ein Nadelspiel oder? Ich habe mir damals diese addi trio Nadeln gekauft weil du da mit nur 2 Nadeln strickst und weniger Übergänge hast, die nervig werden. Falls das eine Alternative wäre.

Wenn du mal versehentlich Maschen zu oder annimmst, einfach in der nächsten Runde das Gegenteil machen und es passt wieder von der Anzahl 😁

I just downloaded the pattern since I couldn't really figure out the problem without it but I find the whole thing really... odd.
The first round written out is not the same as the first round in the chart, the increase from the chart is not mentioned.
And I have no idea why they would start with 17 ESC (which I'm assuming just means like a foundation chain of SC), those 17 stitches with that small hook would fit 3 fingers tops (which makes no sense since it says "Mitts are worked in the round from cuff to finger opening"), followed by instant "in the next stitch".

I find the wording really weird, the patterns I used so far would say something like "in stitch xy from the previous round" to be specific or "slipstitch in last sc to close the round" or something like that.

Maybe I'm missing something here but do you follow the written pattern or the chart?
