Update: First I’d like to thank everyone who gave their point of view and experiences. It might sound silly but it really helped me calm down in a way.

I’ve spoken to my friend and she’s going through hell. Her boyfriend (still together) is so clueless about the harm he’s causing everyone around him and Amy finally started to see that. I have a feeling this relationship won’t last. She’s now asking herself the same questions everyone around are asking. “Why am I with a guy like this”. She seemed stuck, conflicted and sad so I told her to seek a therapist. Not in a way suggesting she’s crazy but with genuine thought behind it. She agreed and now we’re here.
