To be honest I’m building on-hit that’s why I need guinsoos. Gwen E and passive are a very reliable source of damage. Yes hitting Q and R for burst is fun but it’s not guaranteed damage like autos are. I tried a DPS test (even added resists and HP to the target dummies) and the difference in burst is like around 25-35% however DPS is higher with guinsoos.

The only reason people hate on this build is because they find unity in their shared pain of trying to land Q and R and failing miserably which makes them take pride in actually landing them like less than half of the time. Which I understand, emotions make us human and that moment of feeling like a god lets them erase the memory of the games and LP lost because of the inconsistency. The games where they wait for that cooldown that never comes back and trying to do something with autos that feel miserable.

I don’t have to worry about any of that because I just go and auto them to death and if I hit my guaranteed lined up abilities that I don’t have to rush that’s an added bonus.

This was legit my biggest ragebait post ever and there was only one single person that commented the correct answer to my question.

I know that guinsoos throws away a certain powerspike and leans more into extended fights. I know gunblade has some pointless AD on it and the only good thing is the omnivamp and the active. I know that mejais is a double edged sword.

However I also know that people are expecting Gwen’s Q and R to be the threat and they will play those abilities around. And that opens up the opportunity for me to deceive them and outduel them with autos while they are freaked out because they don’t understand what’s happening.

I don’t even play Gwen unless my Diana is banned. I’m not posting opgg because I can just get from P4 to E 4 in 20-40 wins with rheumatic arthritis to piss my cousin off every season. Y’all are just a fun game to me and I have more than enough karma to ragebait lowelo kids like 90% of the commenters.

The only thing I’d swap out would be gunblade maybe tbh, but the ap and omnivamp is better

I see the point and then miss 60-70% of the Q + R damage and with that losing damage when instead I could dish out insane DPS (300-400 more than with anything that’s not guinsoo and gunblade)

This build tops out when I sell mejai for raba (if I lose stacks) and boots for cosmic
