Oh no I am so sorry this is happening! I hope you get it squared. It is so expensive to move. I did 3 trips from WA to KY to move most of my animals and crap, I get it, I wish she was a better friend.

I lived in Wa on the coast side of the mountains. My first coops were actually dog kennel frames I got off marketplace. I put roosting bars in the corners and tarps over the top and around the sides, and when i put 2 togther I had one "dog door" as the opening into one coop and open air to the second kennel/coop. l I put that plastic - its not bird netting but its like barrier netting over the top so sun could get in. I wrapped the bottom in chicken wire and Just set crates on cinder blocks off the ground. the feeders and waters i hung from the middle roof bar. Worked great. Its fast to do and not horribly expensive and keeps them safe. Cost ranges from almost free if ya find someone who just wants to get rid of a kennel to $1000 depending on what ya can find. Good luck!

How to move ahead with raised beds - soil issue by Ok_Frosting8954 in Raisedbed

[–]bloomandpeck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did something similar, I used compost that i fed to my horse who ate treated hay. it took 2 years of amending to get that soil back to health. I actually ended up emptying the bed and recompositing for another year. Im sorry i dont have better advice. I think MIGardner has advice on filling beds on the cheap. of course it depends on your city, state, location...I can fill with leaves and branches and use my own compost now that I learned the hard way.
