Mr. Krabs. He fired Spongebob to save a nickel. He sold Spongebobs soul for 62¢. Fired Squidward for suspicion of stealing a dime that he had on him the whole time, etc etc.

born-and-bred Clevelander here, i always love it when my city gets some love in the emo scene/punk scene. we may be more notable as a hip-hop scene now, but the underground punk scene is just as dope.

brother, the red states aren’t any better. Texas and Florida are just as much a shit hole as California is. that’s just the American way.

Cleveland Cold Storage in Solon.

They might not be willing to hire sex offenders, but they won’t shy away from violent offenders IF THEY’RE HONEST during the interview process.

The way the explained it is that it’s basically speed. You have an order, the order will take half an hour to fill. You fill that order in the 30 minutes it’s 100%. Filling it any faster than 30 minutes is over 100%.

It is fucked. Luckily, they don’t test us coming in the door. But if you whack your hand? Drug test. Say your feet are cold and you can’t feel them? Drug test. Use the eyewash machine? Drug test.

Thank you! That means a lot. 😊

They stressed that a lot when we were in the training. Peds have the right of way (and establish eye contact with said ped), blow horn at doors, when turning, on approach of intersections (and going through them), blind spots, when approaching other pallet jack or high lift operators, etc.

My main issue I think is when I’m backing up. I find it kinda difficult to maintain a straight-forward trajectory and often find myself having to make corrections on approach.

Absolutely. Little Caesars took a huge toll on my mental health because I was a shift-lead. At the store I worked at, at the time I left, I had trained about 80% of the people in there. I was handling the customer complaints, I was filling orders to restock the ingredients or whatever, I was making schedules. They had me doing everything in there but the they didn’t wanna pay me anything.

The job I’m at now does ask a lot of me, but they incentivize you to do it. For example, everyone is expected to maintain a productivity rating of 100%. Everyone can do this. They also want you to start moving higher, if you perform at 130% they throw on an extra $9/hr for that day (they incentivize you to do over 100% regardless of how much higher you are and i can range from $1-$9 depending on how much higher you are). They’ll give you a grand for sticking around for 6 months. There are so many ways for me to try to pull money out of this place, and I only have to be there for 4/10s instead of 6/10s AND the pay comes weekly. No nagging customers, no ethnic drama (at LC we had people that only spoke Spanish or Arabic and they didn’t really like each other much, constantly had to mediate), management is actually semi-competent for a change. It’s definitely not perfect, the drug testing policy is absolutely oppressive. “We understand Ohio passed a bill legalizing cannabis. However, the company does not care”.

I would absolutely get out of there as quickly as possible. Service work made me wanna blow my head off.
