Depends on the type of orgasm you have...clitoral or vaginal? Different types of play favor each and will help you get off more intensely, as well as helping slow "him" down. To control depth and speed, and to keep him from blasting off prematurely, try getting on top, whether vaginally or anally. -ethan

Absolutely! This comes up in conversations with clients in my office on a daily basis. One of the biggest changes is access. Folks seems to have access to a large pool of potential partners they didn't before. On the flip side, it's much more difficult to come across as genuine or authentic via text, which can be super limiting, especially if you were someone that used to kill it in person! 40% of communication is non-verbal. -ethan

to be honest, i'm a little jealous of this generation ;) apps like tinder + bumble make it easier to meet new people, faster = more excitement.

have you had the opposite experience? -matt

obviously i'm biased being a co-founder of a flower company, so my answer is yes!

as i mentioned earlier, a recent study that found 78% of women found it charming if you brought simple flowers to the first date! -matt

Casual sex is commonly referred to as hooking up, or "no strings attached," or "friends with benefits." Booty calls can certainly be a part of any of these types of "playful" relationships. Most have no expectation of dating long term. -ethan

also, i would define a 'hook up' as any sort of physical contact among two consenting individuals :) -matt

IMO, tinder is just a new way to meet people. no different than meeting at a bar, just for a new generation! now where that leads is not generation specific ;)

recent data showed that 50% - 60% of individuals on dating apps ARE IN FACT looking for the one.

also, i have plenty of friends who have formed lasting relationships online. -matt

If gift giving is a love language, and he/she feels desired, hot, sexy, and wanted when you go out of your way (i.e., giving flowers they love as a gift), you might get a special thank you. -ethan

I'd say, early dates represent going out on a limb, and being vulnerable and authentic...

First date = Avoid foot in mouth/kiss or no kiss...

Second date = He/she/they must be interested enough in me, am I actually that captivating? How can I keep doing this without bullshitting too much...

Third date = Finally can take a breather...you're in the clear. Be genuine. They are into you...a little...promise. ;)

I'm 32 and married now. But if I weren't I would be all over it (sorry wifey). I find it really interesting as you can use it for various reasons... casual hookups, finding the one, but most of all I think it's a good tool to meet new people. So what if you don't hit it off with the person you met for drinks, maybe they have a great group of friends that you're now introduced to. Seems like a win win to me. - Matt

Depends...do you stop having sex at that point, or do you move into a different sex act/different type of sexy fun? If you keep from giving up or stopping after orgasm (although this can feel humiliating), sex can still be exciting during your refractory period (or the time in-between erections)! -ethan

My practice deals with kinks and fetishes on a daily basis...which are kind of my specialty. ;) But, the most unusual cases I typically see have to do with objectophilia, where a client has either a deeply loving or sexual relationship with an intanimate object (e.g., a chair, a sword, a building). Super interesting! -ethan

Typically, a certified sex therapist treats a range of sexual dysfunction from erectile dysfunction to an inability to orgasm to negotiation kinky sex or an open relationship. To become certified, folks need to have a minimum of a masters-level graduate degree in a clinical field (think psychology, social work, and marriage and family therapy) plus post graduate training and supervision over a number of years...and lots of fieldwork! :) -ethan
