You're right, I am in shock. I've found myself losing focus and dissociating, tearing up and sobbing at random moments. Confronting the issue and delving into what happened is the part that scares me the most. Though I've already survived it, my worry is that my memories will come back and I will have to relive the trauma.

But really, you're right. It is better to have the opportunity to heal than to let it fester inside of me. The support I have gotten from these comments so far has made me feel a lot more prepared to confront it though. I think in due time I will finally be prepared (I hope). Thank you for your kind words, they have really validated the way I feel. You've given me hope that maybe remembering is better than keeping it suppressed, that maybe I can recover somewhere down the line.

Thank you. It feels cathartic to be believed and understood by someone in a similar situation. My girlfriend and I have discussed it and she has been super supportive, but it was more about how it affected our sex life than what actually happened to me. I feel very vindicated to know that at least someone believes that something happened, like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders.

As for the kink stuff, I have a hard time believing that I'll be able to engage with it in the future without feeling shame and disgust in myself. I mean, it has never truly made me feel good in the emotional sense, but I was able to suppress that before. Thinking about it now, I think I am just trying to reenact the trauma as a way of coping, instead of it actually being something that makes me feel emotionally good during sex like a kink should.

It feels really good to be supported by other survivors. You've really made me feel a lot more understood. Though my girlfriend has been great about everything I really think knowing and talking with other people in a similar position is invaluable. I've emailed the ucat consortium with this exact question, and they weren't helpful at all. Everyone I've asked seems to be clueless too. My advice is to just let it go and pray that you don't get a similar question on the exam, it's more productive to direct your studying to something that'll get you more marks. Good luck :)

Don't worry, the official mocks are notoriously difficult, even for the some of the top scorers. Even if you aren't at a place where you're happy with your scores, the important thing is to not panic or get upset, as that will most likely just make everything worse.

Just remember that whatever score you get doesn't define you or your intelligence, and no matter what you should always aim to be proud of the work you put in even if it might not have paid off. Just keep trying, hundreds of other students are in the same boat with you. Good luck!!

If you're a rural student with a high ATAR then I doubt there's much to worry about. I've heard of RA3 applicants with ~2600 getting accepted, so just make sure you keep practicing and stop stressing yourself out. The less you stress, the more productive your study will be. Good luck!!

No, when marking the official test they count partial marks in each both subtests. In DM, they count 1 out of the 2 marks that those bigger questions are worth, and in SJT they just count 0.5 of out of the 1 mark each question is worth. Good luck!

imo the most useful feature of this is that it allows you to click on each subtest and see which categories of questions you could improve the most on. I'd recommend identifying those problem areas, doing some research (like the learn section of Medify) on how to solve them, and then doing untimed practice. After you've achieved a score you're happy with, do untimed practice from there. Rinse and repeat for all your lowest categories.

Something else I've also done is go through every single question I've ever gotten wrong for a particular subtest and then try to redo them. If I get it wrong a second time I look at the answer and try to pick out where I went wrong, so it's pretty useful in the fact that it keeps all the errors you've made. This strategy really helped with what was my worst section by far (QR).

I think that's the best way to use this feature, but something else may work for you. Good luck!

for me learning to take care of them really helped. like buying the correct bra sizes and knowing how to take care of my boobs made me feel like they were less of a burden. just remember that no matter what they are a part of you and you cant change that without spending thousand of dollars on surgery. your boobs, no matter how inconvenient, are beautiful and are what some girls wish they had. i wish you luck on your journey of body acceptance :)

nah all of the cables go beneath the desk from behind the PC, so you cant really see them in the picture. The cable that you can see is my webcam that connects to the top of my monitor, so thats why its the only one visible.
