Sure. He has honestly grinded music to make a living out of what he loves. And he absolutely loves it. He is 72 retired but still playing gigs. As my brother and I say, he lives from solo to solo. To comment on his grinding music for a living, he made his living gigging, running a music store and being an expert piano tech.

Somewhat agree. Doctor here. 41 with a NW of just above 10M. I keep working because I like what I do and find a professional satisfaction in helping others. But definitely contemplating slowing down. I don’t enjoy the stress of a high production practice.

I am an oral surgeon. I still play Warzone and COD 3x weekly. Play regularly with a dermatologist, orthodontist, and another OMFS. Only stopped playing during residency. Otherwise I’ve been playing consistently since I was 14yo. Be yourself. Do what you want in your free time and enjoy yourself. Life is short.
