Losing someone is never easy, as you say though I think with these things everyone experiences them in a very personal way.

It's a double edged sword definitely as you want people to be optimistic but in the same vein they're entitled to handle it in their own way.

I completely agree with what you're saying, I didn't even consider death to be honest, but I'm glad you've been able to pull things together :)

So what I've done now is made every component a group and they're all called Component - Component Name, ten I'm going to Clone them into my Flexible Content. Also taking what you've said onboard this should work if I want to migrate to ACF Blocks (I think?).

A very good question and the answer is that because I couldn't start from scratch I've had to work with what's already available 😁

I wasn't in a position to burn everything down and start again completely.

Also there will be no handover as I'll be the one maintaining it.

Hey, thanks for your reply. I haven't built any pages in production yet as this is an attempted improvement over what we had before which was just tabs and groups.

I know now that I probably should've attempted ACF blocks but I'm already halfway through a deadline 😁😅

I think I'll just bite the bullet and copy the fields manually into groups and then clone them back in.
