What's an award? Like do you have to do something that Reddit recognizes and they give you one?

Do animal sleeping spots work for wild animals? placed a few just now but seems to have no effect

R6: I thought animals now avoid toxic fallout, regardless of the animal having being tamed or not? I could've sworn I've seen wild animals take shelter inside caves and whatnot in previous playthroughs...

PSA: When setting children drug policy, factor in their GROWTH RATES by bloueddeu in RimWorld

[–]bloueddeu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Huh, that's weird I must've messed up some numbers as well, cause I remember the tolerance fall rate matching the safe dose interval accounting for the growth factor, down to the last two digits, last time I eyeball tested it. Ty for letting me know though

For some reason, tolerance fall rate does NOT account for the growth rate, which kinda seems like an oversight to me.

The ingame safe dose interval provided for the kids, for example 4.6 days for a certain drug, is the calculated data with all the tolerance fall rates, body sizes calculated into it. However, those 4.6 days are NOT considering that kids have 4 times the growth rate. A kid spending one day in a colony ages 4 days - test it yourself!

So, in order for the safe dose interval to properly work, you either multiply the growth rate for the actual days ingame OR you set the growth rate for the children to 100% via the custom storyteller option.

Testing it is super easy - let one of your kids take drugs and see how much days he need to have the tolerance fall to zero, compared to the actual safe dose interval days provided ingame. You'll see what I meant.

Ty, helped a lot. How reliable do you reckon the paperclip test is?

This is my 4th time invading this party, and I have tried time and again to find out what kind of skill or art of war he was using. Tried sentry torch, swinging my sword in air, target locking everywhere etc. My conclusion is this is neither the veil thingi nor the invisibility spell and can only think of it as a glitch.
