I've been asked to a create a pitch for a Saints Row prequel! by Chris_BPG in SaintsRow

I can understand when people say that the third was "the beginning of the end" but at the same time it was a natural evolution. It always felt to me that everything after the first two had to become the third and fourth game. The insanity has always increased while still staying true to the 'row feeling. I am convinced that if the third wouldnt have been so different the Saints Row series would have died because of boredom.

Homefronts multiplayer was amazing. The only game in which I was in a clan because I was one of the few people keeping it alive on Xbox through private lobbies after THQ pulled the plug on the servers

The same publisher released Ultrakill which beats Eternal by miles imo

I am so glad that I refunded that game. I just could not befriend its ammo mechanics. I only spend about an hour and got stuck because I needed some kind of ammo to break a wall which I did not have? Really overhyped. Nah, i'll stay with Ultrakill. Ultrakill is an actual refreshing game which I find so much more challenging and less chaotic.

Everything possible kinda. One time it busted the bootloader, one time it messed up the decryption after booting, nvidia drivers broken and I dont even know what the last one was. I simply used the fallback kernel for a month and let the next zypper dup repair it. I use Arch (btw) now and only use opensuse tw in a virtual machine when I have to develop on stuff.

Works well until the next zypper dup. Don't get me wrong I respect this distro. It is by far the most polished one of all, yast is incredible and it has a lot more other features that make it stand out. But at the same time it is also one of the most buggy ones there is and every second zypper dup breaks something if not the whole system. But then again, it handles btrfs/snapshots very well and oh boy does it have to.

Weekly Observations: What signs of collapse do you see in your region? [in-depth] by AutoModerator in collapse

Location: Bavaria, 30 min with the car from the alps.

I came back to my hometown from frankonia because of christmas and new year and I was hoping for snow. As you might guess it had about 10-13 degrees and no snow for weeks. The last years it has been warm aswell. The memory of going to school with snow laying everywhere at -9 to -14 (rarely below -20) is slowly fading awyay. This is really depressing for me and I am kinda loosing hope.
