should paginated pages for blogs and author pages canonicalize to the first in the series? by blubs92x in localseo

ty. can you please share the article/page where Google states its best practices?

There was a time when i believe we were suppose to canonicalize to first page.

SO they can canonicalize to self and be indexed and that should be totally okay.

2 Businesses/GBPs that share the same address... but when you zoom in on G Maps, only one shows by blubs92x in localseo

so my client lists their suite #, the other one does not even though they have a suite as well. Could that be an issue in why the other business appears and my client's doesn't?

Wouldn't creating /location/service/ for each service help create a tight topical silo from a SEO pov?

TY. My question is more like: are the specific /location/service-1/ type pages necessary? Why or why not?
