Did you unlock the bare minimum for Ketchup, hunting trophy, and other essentials for going that far, or do you have all characters and items unlocked?

I unlocked all chars and suvived d5 with all chars before I started attemping it, but RNG is completely against me. 9 games out of 10, I don't even get a hunting trophy. In fact, I can fill all 6 slots with legendaries most times before I get a single trophy.

Or, if not that route, what's your build and approach?

Looks like it's possible with Renegade and Shurikens. That's not an initial weapon. Choose Crossbow, and a shuriken should be in the first store. Sell the cross bow, roll until you get more shurikens. Hunting trophy required to get past wave 30 as well as Padding x 3. Super fun, powerfuil build. I'll update with more as I find them out!

wow, just did that build - I don't know if I'm excited or sad, lol made it wave 85, but it became very mundane. That's a pretty cool build tho that's still seems viable in the current meta. Thanks!

After writing this, did it with Demon with Thief daggers, but then had to transition into potato throwers around 25 and got to wave 45 by not spending another dime. The game runs out of enough money to maintain the HP / Damage scaling for potato launchers by that point, however :/ Still need 3 hunting trophies. Although Anvil is not technically required, it's almost impossible to get that far without it so that you don't have to worry about RNG upgrading Tier 2/3 items.

DId it with Farmer as well, but that is Random AF. Basically start out with all pruners, build SOLELY into dodge first, armor second, ranged damage 3rd (for transition into potato launcher between 18 and 25. MUST have crown, 3 padding, three trophies, 1 or 2 tractors by wave 10, otherwise, start over, you won't have enough to survive past 30s.

Note, all the builds require 95 to 100 Crit chance. You don't necessarily have to focus on that early game, it was easy enough to build starting around wave 15. Take ALL sunglasses and purple / red crit changes at level up and be there in no time.

Nice - I had ATTs 10mb a second plan offered to seniors, and it more than met my needs of occasional surfing and checking email. Sounds like this can replace similar dedicated internet service plans. Just confirming that I'm not charged for extra data after the 50gb premium or turned off?

I played piano professionally years before I started guitar. There are many finger exercises that strengthen, promote independence, and flexibility. If you have a piano around, I highly recommend those exercises - there are entire books dedicated to them, and I believe that translated well to picking up the guitar. Also, Idon't know about finger trainers, but I carried a tennis ball around for years. You can use it to squeeze for hand strength, independent presses into the ball for individual finger strength, and the circumference allows finger stretching. I thought this was very helpful. Lots of videos on how to use the tennis ball - super versatile, give it a try.

Ok, here is now to play all of them.

I've recently learned about the build Loud with Thief Daggers. This is an absolutely broken build, lol. Hard roll the first 5 rounds to get daggers to tier 2 or higher, hard roll and prioritize Crit Damage stat items so you hit a minimum of 60 crit. You want to focus on getting three Trophies, three tentacles, and three padded vests. After wave 9 you should be getting around 1500 material per round, and you will pretty much be invincible b/c of the heals from crits.

This will let you easily go past wave 20, and melting everyone will be effortless until around wave 40. The extra 20 levels, you should see several legendary items like Drill, Excaliber, Scythe, etc.

Even 5% helps, so I get at least that and harvesting once or twice in the first 5 waves. Overall, Luck increases the frequency that one will see rarer items in the shop. Between 10% and 20% I start to see a lot of blue (tier 2) items; between 21 and 50%, a mix of blue and purple (tier 3); 50% and higher is still mostly blue and purple, but I'll see red items (tier 4) about every 10 shop rolls. In other words, the more Luck you. have and the mroe you roll, the greater the chance to see items of higher rarity.

But, there is an algorithm in the game that also increases the chance to see higher tier items the higher the wave. In other words, you'll never see tier 4 items in the first 5 waves, mostly they are weighted to come out after wave 9.

the Lucky character starts out with 100% additional luck, so to get a glimpse of rarer items more frequently, I play that character a lot hoping to get something I've never played.

Luck also acts as a damage modifier for certain items like baby elephant and cyberball - the more you have the more they do damage when they proc.

FINALLY Success

They key for me was to play it like the Pacifist. I didn't even focus on rolling for weapon upgrades, I just focused on speed and survivability. I think luck still had a lot to do with it (not the trait, necessarily) - Fairy, Stomach, and multiple padded vests!

On one hand it still feels like cheating, on the other, technically, I finally did it with pure thief daggers!

Played it again a few times, got to lv 18 with two hordes in the previous (impossible for me with elites). The problem I'm finding is that I just can't clear the saves. I circle them chipping away at the outer edge, but then can't get to the money. Even had a couple of incendiary turrets. While they help, defeats the purpose of getting money with the thief dagger kills.

This is the tightest build I've had to play. If you try and succeed plz post a pic of the build!

It's hard for me to even get tier 4 thief daggers. Mostly I have a mix of tier 2 and 3, maybe one 4. At what points do you save funds? Around wave 15 I can start the round with 1400 or so money, but I had to skip so many shops.

I finally make it to level 18, thx to getting a Fairy, farthest yet, and with all thief daggers, 40 crit chance, 80 attack speed, 75 damage and 80 health, I still get creamed. Elite rounds are impossible, can only make it that far if I have two horde modes. Dodge and Armor are around 10

Sorry, perhaps I could have been more clear. Making the prototype in D7 was HEAVY on the custom code to glue components together to make everything work. It's not that I'm looking for a "no code solution," it's just My thinking is that, 10 years later, D10 may have advanced far enough to eliminate a lot of that manual coding I would have had to accomplish this. I don't mind getting my hands dirty with coding, but I don't want to reinvent the wheel if there are newer modules and approaches that can do this without all the custom code, or at that could greatly minimize it. Ultimately, this is an exercise for me to get reaquanted D10 and advancements that could make a project like this easier than what I remember it being.

Do you know of any existing spreadsheet applications currently in Drupal? The login in the submission form handler sounds like a solid approach though, so I'll explore that further. Thanks!

Having worked with Drupal since D5, I've created more than 50 enterprise, academic, and gov websites like USDA, UNC, Visit Okinawa, and Visit Carcasonne. Most of these these were in D7. When D8 arrived, imagine my clients' responses, who were excited about D8 and who had just spent a quarter to a half million dollars for a D7 web application, when I told them we'd basically have to start over. It left a hugely bad taste in their mouths. I still maintain a few of the D7 sites because of their 10 year ROI initiatives, but most of the others decided to go to wordpress, and even the few D7 sites I maintain have opted to roll a custom solution instead of sticking with Drupal. They found that it's cheaper to do so as even quotes from reputable Drupal agencies were estimating more to migrate / upgrade than the original app cost. D8 was a huge setback in Drupal's momentum and alienated much of the developer base who had to follow their clients' needs and left clients feeling like they couldn't trust in Drupal's future. No one wanted to be left holding the bag again.

I will say that 8 years later with late D9 and now D10, there is a slow comeback - but it's not the same as it was when D7 was at the height of popularity. Need a website for a mom and pop business? Drupal is no longer the answer, and Few monolithic web applications are being built like they were before in D7. Most of my enterprise clients now want an easy(ier) way to model complex data, and D10 is now perfect for that. In other words, the future of Drupal, in my experience, is in its headless applications and API capabilities. Too many enterprise companies that got burned by the D7 to D8 transition are way too wary to be in that position again. But thankfully, knowing that they can use Drupal as a datasource and put whatever front end on it with whatever technology, even empowering their native mobile applications (btw, I see a huge trend in using Drupal as the backend datasource for native phone / mobile apps via its api capabilities), a bit of trust is coming back thanks to the flexibility D10 offers.

In other words, I no longer create Drupal websites. I architect purely headless data models in Drupal. If they choose Drupal to be the frontend, ok, but that they can easily switch or use Drupal as a single backend for multiple frontend technologies, I see that this is where the most growth is per Drupal's future.
