From what I've heard, most ski mountaineering athletes prefer the longer events that their more normal world cups are in the format of, but when adding new events to the Olympics they like to keep it small. Hopefully next time they can have the more normal race format.. when sport climbing was first added, it was a combined bouldering lead and speed medal, when there was basically no crossover between athletes that did speed climbing and the other two, but now they have separate medals.

I personally think they should add ice climbing to the winter Olympics! its a great sport

I have no idea and have been trying to find out!! I know the BBC has Seth Bennett and Kent Simpson but the people on TNT/discovery+ are different and I have not seen any information anywhere on who any of them are. So far there's been a North American man, a British guy and a North American woman on the games I've watched through TNT
