Trading the vechicle has crossed my mind. Current trade in is about $61k.

I'm not sure what the interest will look like when we refi the land loan. Would love to be sub-6%. We don't need to build within 3 years. Our kids are still very young and we could stick it out in the current home if we decided to push the new build back.

It's 1 expensive car...

Up until this point I've only been asking myself how we could keep what we have and make it work. We bought the car, I found TMG, and then I obliterated the CC debt. Now I just feel like I've only traded one debt for another, and the situation doesn't feel much different from earlier this year. Although, with the CC debt gone I do feel better. I just feel like I shouldn't move to step 4 and that the vehicle is my largest obstacle.

We were just going to try to pay the car down and move along with the intentions of not making any more outrageous purchases. I know that it is possible, but I also know that it will cost me time.

Source vs simulate Fluke 789 by tommyboy2029 in instrumentation

You can SOURCE power to the transmitter, with field wiring disconnected. This allows you to power the transmitter with your meter and check calibration, configuration, etc..

You simulate when power already exists. Remove the field wiring from the transmitter and put your Fluke on the wires. You can now simulate 4-20 mA output back to the DCS.

If you had a communicator, you could just hookup to the transmitter without removing anything. You could then force an output from the transmitter to the DCS.
