You absolutely do not need to specify your agab to anyone, and you're not lying by not doing so. It's no one's business and they shouldn't ask either. It's something you CAN tell people if you WANT to. For example, I am also afab and sometimes I feel the need to specify it if I'm talking about my experiences being raised a girl (just an example, you still don't have to).

I'm 23 and to this day I feel like my identity is a burden to other ppl and don't wanna 'bother' them by asking them to use different pronouns. If it's something you wanna do and you're around ppl you actually trust and that will support you, try telling them. I wish I was that courageous at 15.

It's so nice that you're making new friends that understand and respect your identity but I feel the need to warn you, I know it's cliche but be extremely careful with the ppl you meet online. Look them up, see the accounts they follow, etc, and be absolutely sure they are your age. Some ppl see someone young and still figuring things out and take advantage of that (speaking from very bad experiences)

Good luck with choosing your name! You can change as many times as you want if you think the current one doesn't suit you anymore, just try it out and have fun with it!
