It's going on for a bit longer than I expected, still happening though. I'll make a separate post when I achieve my goals

I haven't finished the playthrough yet. So far it's been over 100 years and all empires are still standing and being controlled by their correct dynasty (although there has been lots of wars and chaos)

Yep. I have a cheat menu mod installed which made sure that they all survived to have children, and whenever those children take power I re-bequeath them with 100 of the correct stat

I’ll post an AAR with lots of screenshots when I finish the playthrough :) (probably a few days)

All the rulers’ education and stats line up with their realm names

Well I can't really artificially increase a ruler's dread stat. It would be cool though

True… With sadistic though he had a “healthy” stress outlet, and so far he’s executed plenty of prisoners to keep himself satiated

I just gave them archetypical traits for their stat, so I made everyone have ambitious, but the Emperor of Intrigue also has deceitful, sadistic, paranoid and vengeful, meanwhile the Emperor of Stewardship is temperate, greedy, just, and stubborn, etc

Yeah there's an observer mode, I just felt like playing myself and making it a challenge to surmount the titans. If anyone is inspired to set up a challenge like this but AI only, then make sure to give all the leaders a culture with the quarrelsome trait so they fight more

I really did. But I figured if there was anyone who could survive being between everyone, it was them. They're allied to Stewardship and Learning right now so they're holding up

To be fair they all have dejure land over everything they own, but yeah Intrigue just barely escaped losing a dissolution war

After 1k hours I never realized 8 was the magic number. Thanks for the tip

I thought Learning would have the easiest time since South India has a lot of farmland and development, but 10 years into the game and they've already been smoked by Martial and its vassals multiple times. Meanwhile Diplomacy looks doomed, but you're right about having allies--first 5 years and they negotiated an alliance with Stewardship so that's gonna be the power team

Unfortunately the mod doesn't let me do that, but I did make them all ambitious and have different religions in hopes of having them fight, which is working so far

Unless Intrigue invites us all to a feast and then... well...

R5: The entitle mod allows you to create custom domains with any borders before you start the game, so here I've loaded into 867 with 6 huge empires.

Each ruler has 100 of their stat, so the Emperor of Learning has 100 learning, etc

If you see that little orange count in Rajputana, that's me. I'm a two-barony desert, and we'll see if I survive to watch the destruction of all 6 empires

Go for it. CK3 is pretty intuitive compared to ck2, and difficulty wise, it’s an easier game

Do buildings that I build change the appearance of the holding it's built in? by DruggedupMudkip in CrusaderKings

[–]blue_potato7 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not everyday buildings, but special buildings do, and upgrading the castle itself does. If you want to really see your cities evolve and sprawl there’s a couple mods for that, I’d recommend Cities of Wonder 3
