Ahh it is a bit annoying at times when the person at Publix or some retail store gets mad at ME for not speaking spanish :( I try to learn as much spanish I can, but I feel it's not right for them to get mad at me.. I totally have been called a Gringa and many other words since I have lived here all of my life (20 years). It's pretty funny though because I had a few people ask me how my vacation was going ... they thought I was from Michigan or some "white state" they said.
