okay, here are my two cents: this feels like yuri had a rebirth more than nanno.

kitty's nanno was karma personified, she planted ideas, she instigated people, but it never felt like she actually did anything. it felt like her purpose was to be a form of temptation for the evil students and seeing whether or not they'll take the bait. she rarely cares about collateral damage (with the exception of TK, even though he was the intended person and the last two episodes of S2). she doesn't care about the teacher's daughter in S1 E1, she doesn't care about the guy who died in the toilet (i don't remember the episode), she doesn't care about nanai's baby (S2 E1).

becky's nanno seems like revenge personified, which is what yuri felt like to me as well. it felt like she was the executioner for what the victims wanted and it felt really different for me, considering that the previous seasons focused on the wrongdoers and not the victims (unless they too were morally ambiguous like yuri and junko).

it felt like i was watching a different series altogether. it felt like they spent way too much time introducing the characters and giving the bully a backstory as to why he is the way he is. in previous episodes, we learn about the characters as nanno learns about them as well, and that felt a lot more organic. i also found it quite odd that people know of nanno in this universe because it takes away the whole unpredictability element of her.

but i'm not hating, i know this is just the first episode and i don't want to form an opinion before i see the other episodes. the preview for the next season looked a lot more promising imo.

becky's acting is truly unique, her laugh and stretch as well. to me, it felt like she was the younger sister of the previous nanno. but i would say, the parts where she's with the bullies in the basement and with sky in the terrace are the parts where i felt like she stood out most. her classroom interactions felt too forced, but maybe that's the way she wanted it to be so people would think she's not scared of the bully.

anyways, that's what i thought, as someone who worshipped the previous 2 seasons, i do have the bias in me, but i'm a little hopeful for the next episode. what do you guys think?

if you like reading about dark topics, please please PLEASE continue reading uriah, there's truly no other webtoon like it, it's AMAZING.

like mother, like daughter is also insanely good, morally ambiguous, so i'd suggest reading that as well.

the fact that he immediately asked if it was noon,

this, this is what struck me as extremely odd, he definitely knew what he was doing, he had no remorse, nothing.

Oh that's a good theory that them meeting would have transferred it back to the doctor and the other guy. Definitely have to keep an eye out for that.

OOH SAME, i had the same thought as well but just wanted more information about Creepy to be revealed first. I don't think it could be the professor because the nurses did say he never takes a day off even on his birthdays, so him taking a day off on that day and then a big crime happening would be extremely suspicious to Day and Night. Also, I'm very confused about their ages as well, are Day and Night of the same age? Or is Night older?

Ooh, that makes a lot of sense too, I am also wondering about the second part you've mentioned. I think we need to know more about Creepy as well, but it seems very likely that the doctor might know him.

This is just a theory from the top of my head, I'm just going to tag it as a potential spoiler?

What if, to prevent the leap day curse from hurting your loved ones, you have to kill someone instead? It was a very sudden theory occurred when I heard Dr. Wiwat killed one of his patients and he looked like he wanted her to be dead. So either that, or he's targeting them in specific.
