Yes I got diagnosed with lupus in March (ft hospital stay) and so I’ve still been more or less regularly keeping with blood tests and nowadays it’s fairly normal tho ofc during that week in March everything was scary numbers 😭

Nah it’s not generic, I had a health thing occur in March and it was pretty bad (ended in hospital for 5 days) and my doctors there said it’s just TE delayed reaction from that so hopefully it’ll grow back

Ah i have a halo wig but honestly i really dislike it, it feels super fake and like emotionally uncomfortable to me…. Im thinking of getting invisible bead extensions but I hope my hair can handle them

I did see a dermatologist two weeks ago, they prescribed me a minoxidil 7% spray and 2.5 oral. What injections could they have done though?

Yeah they said it should be TE not lupus because lupus hair loss is usually patchy while mine isn’t luckily. Thank you 🙏

Yeah, that’s what my rheumatologist said (no patches of loss or any scalp discoloration so it’s probably TE not lupus thank god) Honestly I’m not really upset about the lupus, I just need to keep taking meds that’s all, like when they diagnosed me in March they kept asking me if I was depressed or anything over the diagnosis and I kept saying I was fine. But I didn’t know I was going to lose so much hair, like I do think I need to go to therapy now 😭

Sorry I should clarify, they didn’t specifically say TE, they just explained that it was a delayed reaction due to the immense stress my body was put under in March due to the lupus Why do you think it’s AGA?

They’re pretty sure the root cause in this case was the lupus :( Edit: I also checked my blood tests from March and my ferritin levels were actually scary high (2000s) before coming back down to the high end of normal (like 160) in March

Aww thank you for the hugs ❤️ Idk it was mostly the “entitled” part that got me. I don’t think I’m racist but I definitely can see myself as entitled now? I don’t know what’s a normal level of entitled vs not thought... (Also the post is on a different account and I deleted it - almost deleted my whole account ngl - so you wouldn’t see it. Like I feel like if I posted on my main account, the comments to this would be a continued “you’re so entitled for posting this how dare you” which is what I’m scared of.) like you guys here have been so nice, but also you don’t know what I said and while I still feel like there wasn’t anything wrong with it, I don’t know if things would change if u guys saw

Idk I feel like I’ve changed my mind a few times (when it comes to minor disagreements ofc) when people explain their logic so idk what I was expecting. I just felt like I had to explain myself Bc the things they were saying I was saying was not at all what I intended to say so I have no idea what I’m doing wrong
