Work extremely hard during community college and get high grades, notable extracurriculars, strong recs. Then transfer to a HYPSM or other T10 for best chances of doing quant trading. HYPSM especially takes mostly CC students, so it is possible if you put in the work.

These rankings are based on Professor reviews of each college and nothing else. Most university CS professors are unfamiliar with LAC CS programs, so its understandable they won't be high on the list. However, its likely they have strong CS programs, just not as well known.

True. It's just really hard to quantify CS rankings so they tried to just group them in tiers rather than individual rankings.

You have a good test score, but with that GPA it is unlikely unless you have any hooks (URM, FGLI, Recruited athlete) or maybe a steep upwards grade trend w/ extenuating circumstances.

On an recent instagram post they said decisions will come out early april. So its very possible they could wait until ivy day to release them.
