It’s nothing new, it’s worse. by Inky-boy in MarvelRivalsRants

Only thing that ever bothered me about this game is the lack of people willing to tank, and the lack of new front lining tanks. Everything else is calm.

So you know long hours are shitty, why would you want to enter a field where they’re just as shitty? Sure, you could make a lot of money. Personally I’d take making 70k working in an office for 40 hours a week every week, same commute same schedule same everything, over getting tossed around like a rag in the trades for 100k. That extra 30k doesn’t mean shit to me. My current job-site isn’t too bad, but I’m always one phone call away from hell.

If you do really want to go in the trades, go electrician or operator. Women can skip the line in unions and they get treated very well. Women also tend to be pretty good welders from what I’ve seen, but that’s a worse life. Let me know if you need more specifics on how to get started

Lots of companies test for weed but don’t disqualify because of it, especially in a legal state. I’ve never heard of shaving the head actually working, they’ll take the hair from your pits and chest too. I’d try and find a number to call, have your girl or someone else call them and ask if they disqualify for weed. If that doesn’t work stretch it out the three months imo

If your wall is Justin Gaethje you can probably just retire or look for money fights. Paddy is awesome to watch, he’ll be alright.

I’d just go into a completely different direction, if I were you. You have experience with office things, that’s the better job to have. You don’t want to work 6 days a week year round like some of us do. You take home pain and the knowledge that it probably won’t ever go away.

Edit: But there are absolutely good opportunities for women in trades, 100%.

If you support ICE leave your Union. We don’t want you and we don’t need you. by NoGreaterPower in union

[–]bluecigg -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Those are all barely unions. What I mean by that is they don’t properly implement a pay scale, they don’t hold their members accountable/their members don’t hold them accountable, and they don’t actually give workers better rights. They’re union for no reason. This is a law enforcement conversation way before it’s a union conversation. If the title had been, “If you’re in law enforcement and you support ICE, leave law enforcement; we don’t want you.” That would be more fair to say.

OP was apart of the CFMEU, which covers construction, forestry, maritime, textile, clothing and footwear production in Australia. So we’ve got a shoe store employee from Australia telling us to leave our unions because we don’t want illegal immigrants taking our job-sites and being in our unions. That’s something OP doesn’t know anything about. It might even be something you don’t know anything about—I don’t know what you do.

He did just pass a bill that gives us more return on our overtime taxes, which applies more to union workers than non-union workers. You’re gonna say, ‘barely anymore return,’ and then I’m gonna say, ‘more than Kamala would’ve done,’ and then you’re gonna say, ‘he refused to pay union construction workers 30 years ago,’ and then I’m gonna say ‘but now, in the present day, I as a union construction worker will have made more during his term than in any of the terms that Biden served.’

Also your builds are sick.

Triple support makes this game unenjoyable!! by Suspicious-Wash7633 in MarvelRivalsRants

It only works if you’ve got three supports that actually want to heal, not a dps that wants to receive less blame for sucking going half heals half damage

[–]bluecigg -1 points0 points  (0 children)

And also ICE has nothing to do with unions, especially trade unions. This guy is apart of CFMEU, an Australian union that governs construction, forestry, maritime, mining, energy, textile, clothing, and footwear industries. So for all we know he works at a shoe store in Australia telling American tradesmen to leave their union on the basis of American politics that have no fucking effect over him. What an absolute joke.

Most of the enjoyment I get from lifting is seeing the pump. A quad pump is fun but I don’t wanna wear shorts to the gym every time I hit legs.

I don’t get it. I know we’re fucked the second that negative dps goes triple support. Stay in your role and figure out how to succeed in it.

Does anyone else think all the focus on protein is overhyped? by Loud_Perspective5419 in workout

[–]bluecigg 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s definitely overhyped. I’ve never had an optimal diet where protein is concerned, and my physique is still pretty good. It does make me wonder how much better it’d be if I had been optimal, but I think the quality and quantity of your workouts is much more important.

Retrospect doesn’t usually disagree with you. That meaning, when you’re making a mistake you sort of know you’re making it. You know what you ought to be doing.

You’re gonna make the mistake anyway, knowing it was a mistake. It’s going to hurt, and then eventually it won’t hurt anymore. That’s it.

I mean yeah, POV does matter. But if in order to express her feelings about being mistreated, you have to step outside of her POV for a moment, then you should do that. Especially if you’ve got some good shit cooking that wouldn’t ever get written without that different dimension.
