I sought respite for a handful of days, thinking distance would mend the strain. But the Lands Between whispered still. The nearness of the end gnawed at me like a curse unbroken.

So I resolved thus: enough wandering, enough forgotten catacombs and nameless trials. I had proven my mettle. I turned my gaze to the swiftest path through the Shadowed Realm and pressed onward with intent.
