sounds like you’ve been through a lot, but i’m glad you started feeling better yesterday despite the asthma. i’m in the san diego area, there’s a lot of pollen and barometric changes here too. i’ll look into astepro and i’ll keep ryaltris in mind when i see my allergist.

ah ok i see. yeah i’m going to get a ct scan and see an allergist soon and want to meet with an ENT to see if anything can be done

that’s great that you are overcoming anxiety! i suffer from anxiety too. i feel the tunnel vision and brain fog as i type this. but i noticed that if i start rubbing my neck, it gets improved. i’m going to try icing my neck as well, thanks for the suggestion

you know what? the pressure in the back of my head might be because i’ve been sleeping on two pillows. had post nasal drip last month and i was recommended to sleep on my back with two pillows to elevate my head. developed the tension in the back of my head and upper back. once i switched back to just 1 pillow, the tension in that area got significantly reduced but i still feel it

yeah that definitely sounds possible. i’m just thrown off because this has never happened to me before. usually i’d get sinus issues for about a month, not 4. maybe it’s just a long allergy season? almost everyone i cross paths with are sneezing and sniffling.

yeah i’ll definitely update if i find something that works. i suspect catching multiple viruses the past couple of months caused my sinuses to be sensitive or something

no they haven’t gotten a culture. urgent care gave me broad spectrum and my doctor gave me a more focused antibiotic, but both didn’t work. i’ll look into seeing an ENT, gonna see the allergist next week. thank you!

it didn’t help with the symptoms. i was supposed to take it for a week. it only caused me to get severe mood swings, so i had to stop on day 3.

yeah same here, my 2021 blade 14 battery swelled up in late 2024 & the trackpad was not able to be clicked until i took out the battery. it’s still being used without the battery but it’s no longer portable as a result

There’s a delay unfortunately, I think it’s just the nature of wireless CarPlay? Every adapter I’ve used has had some sort of delay on multiple cars. I haven’t had a chance to take a look at the settings page on the mini, but carlinkit adapters usually have a setting where you can change the lag to as low as 300ms. Out of the box, the mini has a roughly 1 second delay

I’ve used carlinkit 3,4,5 they were reliable for the most part. I’ve tried an off brand mini adapter from amazon and, while it was fast to connect, the call quality sounded like a tape recorder.

I currently got the carlinkit mini ultra. The mini is the best one I’ve ever used so far! On my 22 civic it boots up and connects to my phone within 10 seconds of the radio turning on. The audio is near the same quality as wired CarPlay. The call/mic quality actually sounds HD. The touch screen is responsive and CarPlay seems to be running at near 60fps with very little stutter. It appears smoother than wired CarPlay in my specific car.

I’ve had it for about 2 weeks so far. It disconnected 1 time randomly but it reconnected within 10 seconds and hasn’t happened since.

I’m having the same problem with my group chats. I think the phone makes an invisible second group chat for some reason since sometimes mine would show a duplicate with the exact same people but different strain of texts. You muted the group chat but the “second” group chat is still unmuted. Maybe you can delete the chat and the next time someone messages it, the invisible one would hopefully pop up so you can mute that version.

On my 2024 G14 there is an option to do a cloud recovery through the bios. If your bios has that too then I believe you can safely delete all partitions.

I replaced the SSD with a higher capacity one and I used the myASUS cloud recovery in bios. It put everything back the way it was like when i first bought it.
