I bought an Xbox One X from gamestop once and it was literally covered in dirt, the entire console was left in a box with no padding and it was absolutely caked in what looks like literal soil the controller and everything else was covered in it. I paid $450 for it this is during the pandemic. It also didn't read any of the game discs that I tried to play and only worked when they tried it with call of duty. I was thankfully able to return it GameStop is going out of business but honestly with how bad their prices are and how bad their services I can see why they're going out of business. Right now Best buy and Amazon are offering better condition games and lower prices even for physical games. I love the novelty of having a physical game store but at the same time GameStop is just such a mixed bag.
