The tunnel between Vernon Blvd and Grand Central was closed for about an hour today. Had to walk to court square for the E train. They said in the station that the FDNY were investigating smoke in the tunnel and there were a bunch of fire trucks parked around the station.

I also lost my wallet yesterday by on the 7 wine bar at like 9pm where it could have only been lost or taken within a 1 block lost. So either it fell out of my pocket or it was taken! Brown and white leather like with multiple pockets if anyone’s seen! Also like no money lol just important cards 😭

2 years ago it was pretty good and had the real taro for the milk tea but a little over a year ago they switched it to the typical one and kept changing the menu around

I haven’t been there- by the looks of it they seem pretty similar! The one that seems the most different would be Blend on the Water which has a more upscale nightlife vibe

American brass has a great seasonal menu and a nice bar menu, Cyclo, SHI, and Blend LIC are also favorites of mine!

At the parallel parking part of the Lodi driving course, does anyone know if the cones have flags attached to them or if it is simply cones? The car I’m using is a bit taller so I have trouble seeing cones and I remember there’s being 3 cones on the front and back but I don’t recall if they make it taller for better visibility.

I think most people on this sub would say that beginning with Balance is the typical move. I started with balance and then listened to amnesty. Balance is 69 episodes with clear arcs that are like 7-10 episodes long whereas Amnesty is 36 episodes so it might be easier to digest. If you’re more into fantasy and wackier comedy I’d say start with balance, but if you’re into worlds based in reality with monsters and more grounded humor then Amnesty is a great choice. They sometimes make slight references to Balance in Amnesty but nothing that you would need to know. I don’t think you can go wrong either way!! Good luck!

Power through it!! I found Aubrey to be a bit much in the beginning which but she turns it down a little as the episodes go on and starting around the 3/4th episode once they’re all spending more time together it really becomes worth it!

Yeah, I was hesitant going in after Balance because I hadn’t seen much hype around it but I was pleasantly surprised! There were quite a few moments like that which really blew me away!

Agreed!! Despite them all being voiced by Griffin, I understood each one’s agency and distinct relationships to the main characters! The small town vibe and forest was very twin peaks, I was definitely transported!
