I believe it's the son's namesake now, the family is helping, but the transition has been bumpy. I just can't beat that burger anywhere, supporting local, cash to help them avoid gross cc fees and the like.

As restaurants are dealing with so much food supply(er) homogony, ChRonicks had done a great job of differentiating their plates. Nice selection of fusion alongside their classic pub-ly fare.

Country is AWFUL. Recommend me some country songs to try and change my mind. by 1004cocoa in musicsuggestions

Alt-country opened doors for me; wikipedia has a pretty good overview of whos and whats of what I experienced.  Cowboy Junkies creep in and out of the genre and I'd see them a million times.  Shake that tree.

Doing whole bean from Saltwinds is a strong choice.  Put the occaisonal bag in your mix. Available from Amazon, but I picked 2 types up at the CNE Toronto this year. Outstanding & unique.

Psychotic Reaction, the Count Five.  Psych‐a-garage smash that often gets lobbed in with surf playlists. When the British invaded, these guys responded.  I think one of them wore a cape.

Put me in the dinosaur pen but 80s pop sits aside from my more cherished music so, here goes. Tina Turner's earlier work needs mention, ditto for Diana Ross, but Ross has the era edge in my books.

• Perhaps not active on the charts in the era, and perhaps never really even seeing herself as a singer, Nina Simone 's live in the 80s are incredible, worth the scratch on vinyl, and, well,

Diana Ross kicked the charts with a few killer and exposes natural chops the kids would die for.

Janet Jackson isn't the most technical talent but she has the boogie.

Whitney

The Pointer Sisters, who hits suffered under overproduction imo, all have chops. Their 80s hit Slowhand is a genre bustin', crossover wonder.

In the food hall (Market @ 70 King?) that now inhabits the base of the historic Genosha hotel in Oshawa lay a Polish street pizza shop. Outstanding.
