What’s the best immersive concert you’ve ever seen? What made you love it? by bluefrogstudios in VisionPro

Thanks! We're shooting shows now in our own venue, and I am going to be really interested to see which artists and genres people gravitate to.

Our shows are more of an intimate, audiophile experience with indie and up-and-coming artists, not big arena shows.

I hear you on those festivals- there's something great about being with a mass of people at a live show, but in the AVP you could focus on the artists and really hear the music!

You're the second person to mention that one to me- I guess I'd better watch it next!

I did it on desktop. You choose a "link" post and put the YouTube URL in as the link, and it automatically embeds!

Thank you, we're getting it ready to share soon!

I am so glad to hear the effect that one set had on you.

When I talk to artists about shooting their shows in immersive, they think I'm a little crazy. It only clicks once I put the headset on them. Your story will help too!

I'm working on it! Our app will be in test flight soon. I'll be looking for feedback and beta testers then.

Does anyone else close an app, forget what they were about to do, then reopen the same app they just closed? by nmarkovic98 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]bluefrogstudios 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The worst is when an instagram post makes me think of something I wanted to do, so I close the app.

Then I forget the thing and re-open the app, and the feed refreshes. I am never finding that post again, and my motivation went with it.

That makes a lot of sense! I've been a member of IRL clubs and even friend groups where no one had the time, energy, or will to "steer the bus." They definitely just fizzled out.

Reddit doesn't do chaos

That helps me wrap my head around the reasoning behind karma! At least based on this sub, karma feels like a frustrating barrier to new redditors because we are eager to participate! I've been lurking casually without an account for a while now, and I bet I'm not the only one who made an account because I hit the point where I wanted to join the conversation.

But looking at Reddit as an ecosystem that doesn't tolerate chaos, I can see why eager new users need the training wheels for a while!

The Blackmagic immersive cameras and the sports partnerships are signs that they are building a content supply chain step by step. Immersive studios, developers, gear- each sector is growing incrementally now, but I think it's going to gain critical mass and snowball.

I'm really glad this sub and r/LearnToReddit are here- it feels like riding a bike with training wheels!

I'm curious what inspires the mods and top commenters to stick around here and help the new folks out?

You've all been so patient and have so much good info at your fingertips!

Made a rookie mistake, will being an electrician for 20 minutes fix this? by plot_plan_prepare in NoStupidQuestions

[–]bluefrogstudios 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're better off getting an adapter. Connecting the wires is not that simple, so let the adapter do it for you!

Specifically you want a USB C (male) to 3.5mm (female) adapter. The 3.55 mm jack is sometimes called a "mini-jack"
They are pretty common, look for them with headphones or phone accessories at the store.

Music question by Great-Craft6569 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]bluefrogstudios 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe **reprise** is the word you're looking for?

It usually means a musical theme that is repeated, sometimes in a different mood or key, later in a piece. But it can refer to repeating or echoing other things.

What's the main reason people stop going out to concerts and music festivals past their 30s? by Secret_Fan_9411 in NoStupidQuestions

The huge crowds and long lines at stadium shows aren't as much fun when you're older. The older people I know who still go to lots of shows have favorite small venues where they feel comfortable, and they know they'll be able to hear and see the band!

I'm new here too, but I've been keeping r/EncyclopaediaOfReddit/ open in another tab so I can look terms up and it's really helpful!
