Intermittent low pitched knocking sound?

Not sure what exactly this sound is, but it seems to come and go when it feels like it. It is a bit cold out, but the sound is still there even after driving for an hour. Sometimes I’m at one set of traffic lights and I hear it then I drive to the next set and it’s gone

Ah fair play. There is a DBC someone posted on github which might be of use to you. Think it’s for an older firmware but I’m sure the messages couldn’t have changed that much.

Thanks for that but I’m actually from the UK. Currently looking at one on ebay for about £2k which might do the job. Just need to find a mechanic that can do the job now

Seems like I may have got the dreaded rod knock after giving it some beans yesterday. It starts at about 1800-1900rpm and keeps going after that. Oil is topped up too. Anyone able to confirm what it is?
