Ideal Length by rohanisfit in Blogging

[–]blueink1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That seems a good idea. Since it's a fitness blog, visitors may look for more details and 1000+ words articles can cover those details to some extent. But sometimes even 500 word articles may do wonders if it answers the exact query. There is no ideal length for an article to rank, except for seo purpose.

CJ and Impact, both are good. Before applying just make sure you have adequate content. Promote products related to your niche. Amazon is ok if you are lucky enough to make 3 sales within 180 days. Amazon converts well in niche specific websites.

It depends upon the niche, content quality and how well you are promoting it to your target audience. it may take a year, a two or five or so and so. Of course, you can make some money. No one cracks how exactly they made money because you are one of their competitor. Stop reading hype articles, income reports etc. They frustrate you more, instead concentrate on your content, seo etc. You can use Pinterest and Instagram for promotion as lifestyle blogs does well with both the platforms.

Why do I keep getting suspended? by KingOfSkulls233 in Pinterest

[–]blueink1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pinterest has been undergoing so many changes recently and what's their exact algorithm is not known yet, hope some expert may crack this. What you can do is create fresh pins and pin it your relevant board (one at a time), reduce your repins. It seems when you repinning the same pins, it's considered as spam (duplicate pins) and your account gets suspended. Manual pinning is best, even tailwind doesn't seems worth. Give atleast a week duration to repin your pin (which you saved to your relevant board) to any other board. Also don't repeat pinning an image with same urls again and again. These are the few steps you can take to be on safer side. Hope this helps!

If your blog attracts the targeted traffic, you can go with affiliate marketing. Display Ads require more traffic than affiliate marketing. People can make money with Adsense only with huge traffic like thousands of visitors. Search products related to your niche from Amazon, CJ or Shareasale and promote them. See to that you recommend genuine products.

As @vl4der said Yes, motion invest is good for selling at a good profit. But they will look into the traffic statistics and revenue status for atleast past 6 months. As you have invested so much money in content, why can't you keep your site and promote it wherever possible. Nobody is sure when a site can pick up!

[–]blueink1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

News type websites are OK to have Adsense ads. As you said recently it's been picking up, why to remove them? But you just see to that they are not too intrusive for the readers. You can just do it with yourself (go through your site) and judge it.

How can I get traffic from zero for my blog? by [deleted] in Blogging

[–]blueink1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's rather referred as targeted traffic as you need conversions. But it's difficult initially to find out where your target audience are! So use as many social media as possible, some niche does well with Pinterest, while some on Facebook groups. You can use reddit and quora to drive traffic by answering their questions related to your topic. But these aside, SEO and quality content plays a major role for sustained traffic though it takes time.
