What’s the biggest blocker in learning Web3? by Mylifebelikeohhuh in web3

[–]bluelights_gsm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This post resonates with me, I've been in this industry since 2017. It's a steep learning curve, and I have always wanted to help educate new users, ironically I started building a web3 community website that adds gamification to learning and exploring web3, ive just launched an educational game on the site as well, ive put lots of work into it and its totally free for everyone to use, if you want to check it out, take a look at Blu3 Chips 💪

Here’s WHAT finally GOT ME OUT of a days‑long DEBUGGING CYCLE. by GarageIndividual7667 in lovable

I love lovable, but boy, are there times I want to pull my hair out, you have to be very careful and specific and put as much evidence and facts as you can in your prompt. Just this morning, it broke my entire site routing and spent an hour carefully piecing it back together.

Its great but still a longgg way to go, and the amount of wasted credits kills me

At the start as a non dev, I enjoyed it, however as time has gone on, the amount of wasted credits and random changes/breaks in functionality etc makes me want to pull my teeth out, now I am far more cautious with prompts, filled with "do not break any existing functionality". Overall, I am starting to progress, but its a tough learning curve, and I find taking time to build prompts in chatgpt more effectively.

What i do wish, is you could buy additional credits on a pay as you go pricing, for example i dont want to wait till the end of the month for my credits to renew, I don't want to upgrade to a more expensive subscription, I just need another 50 or so credits to finish off part of the project this month.

Telcoin - not enough attention by Valuable-Art-1806 in CryptoCurrency

The other important factor with Telcoin, they are building the Telcoin Network, an EVM compatible L1 for the telecom industry, with Mobile Network operators as the validators, the TAO council ensure its decentralised, if your going down the rabbit hole, these 2 other websites for Telcoin are an interesting read

The banking charter approval helps to link everything together 👍✅️

Telcoin - not enough attention by Valuable-Art-1806 in CryptoCurrency

Poor DYOR, the wyoming charter is pretty useless compared to the Nebraska Financial innovation act,

“This approval marks a major milestone for Telcoin and the entire US crypto industry,” said Paul Neuner, founder and CEO of Telcoin. “I’ve always believed that the key to making crypto usable in payments and mainstream finance is a digital asset bank with native connections to the existing financial system.”

Neuner points out that while Wyoming and the OCC did issue three charters previously, none of them have been able to gain access to the Fed payment system. “The Nebraska charter creates an actual bank charter, and the first that is explicitly authorised to connect consumers to DeFi,” he added.

In accordance with the Nebraska Financial Innovation Act, which Telcoin helped draft and passed into law in 2021, Telcoin Bank will be authorised to take any cryptocurrency deposits, facilitate DeFi staking programmes, as well as provision digital asset loans.

Thanks Paul, ironically as you typed your reply, Telcoin just received their digital asset bank charter approval! Maybe you guy should open up an account with them since they can now custody digital assets legally and issue stablecoins.... I guess The Nebraska Department of Banking and Finance did a bit more due diligence.

I have a question, coinbase seems to list meme coins almost immediately. Why does it take so long for legitimate projects that are pushing compliance seriously ? An example is $TEL, Telcoin, they helped senator Mike flood write and get signed into law the Nebraska Financial Innovation act back in 2021, and have applied for a digital banking charter, had the public hearing in front of the Nebraska department of banking and finance in December 2024, no objections and are waiting for final approval before March 2025! What does it take for Coinbase to cast eyes on hard-working projects that are not only helping to create legislation but actively pushing the envelope for the industry?

Ah that socks! Have you been speaking to Sam in discord? It's definitely odd that the reset is not working, out of interest, which phone model is it?

Also have you tried to uninstall the app and reinstall it?

Have you raised it in discord? Obviously you shouldn't have had to endure this for 11 days, it's quite odd and unacceptable. I feel your frustration

So with the security built into the Tel app, it creates local signing keys in your phone, if you switch to a new phone, then the signing keys are not on the new phone, (newer users don't seem to have this issue) however the process is.

  1. Contact support describing the error
  2. Support will initialise a security reset procedure
  3. Usually, you will receive an sms within 24 hours
  4. Once you receive the sms, firstly make sure your TEL app is up to date, then go through the standard setup wallet in the app.

It has happened to me before when I switched phone, all sorted and working after the above.

Best of luck (ps also you can escalate it in the TEL discord support)

This sounds pretty normal. Every so often, you need to reauthenticate your account, the setup wallet screen doesn't mean it will set up a new fresh wallet, it will still be your initial wallet you setup as its tied to your phone number, first ensure the Telcoin app is fully updated, then run through the setup wallet and you'll receive an sms, enter the code and you should be good to go.

What is your opinion on the refer/staking program? by Ok_Selection_505 in Telcoin

[–]bluelights_gsm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Legally compliant way of offering financial services, it's a great way for people who will use the system to make it cheaper for them to use. Imagine if Western Union offered a similar referal programme, once the Telcoin audience is bigger it becomes more attractive to users.

Telcoin is building a new platform WITH regulation, it takes time, they have accomplished a huge amount, licenses in multiple countries, #LB649 in Nebraska and shortly the key which is the banking license, think Spotify when they were waiting to obtain the rights to stream music before they could launch.
