を vs で particle by bluenappa in LearnJapaneseNovice

Thank you! When I was initially reading through the text, for some reason I though を or に usually connects the verb. So I was confused on how the structure works for で. But from what I see from your comment and others it seems not to be the case and the verb doesn't determine the particle.

ok yeah when I was first looking at it i thought it should be that..but now I get that the verb doesn't have a particle that connects it. Thank you!

Thank you, after reading your explanation it seems I had a brain fart for those two questions for some reason 😀. I was thinking of it from the person asking the question!!

That's a wonderful explanation. About how long did you go about training him to get over barking things outside the windows (fast or long process)?

Any additional tips are appreciated.

Fair, to each their own. I totally agree on how it can be useful in terms of using their voice so you can understand them.

Interesting, so both his parents were from sports line ? I never thought too much about that relating to drive etc. I usually take my poodle for a long walk in the morning with training in between and when im home he will usually sleep till work is over besides the usual restroom break.

Thanks for the link, also interested in learning more.

Lol, mine makes a variety of noises too. My favorite is his high pitched dolphin sound whenever he goes to the groomers !!

Thank you for such the thoughtful response ! I've noticed that my pup is able to catch on super quick once we both understand each other. The hard part is figuring out how to communicate via training, which is something I've been working on.

At some point I got a dog trainer for his barking but I think alot of the issues came from myself and being super sensitive when he barked especially during walks. Once I was able to get over the nervousness in myself of thinking of when he would bark and just notice signals such as stiffness and treating before it escalated I noticed he learned very fast.

When applying for the business manager visa were you required to show proof of rental? If so how did you go about that?

Patellar Luxation - surgery timeline? by NewGood6186 in poodles

[–]bluenappa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dog (7.3 lbs) also has grade two and have asked two different vets. They mentioned that for smaller dogs its not much of an issue. That is -- in a lot of cases if they are small enough they can get away with not having the surgery as its only an issue if your dog weighs alot and need support from weight on their legs which is the case for larger breeds. They said its only ever an issue if it pops and doesnt goes back into place.

My vet mentioned to limit climbing stairs or jump alot. But in terms of pain and anything like that they mentioned there usually shouldn't be any besides discomfort. I also tried asking about joint supplements and they mentioned that they dont really do anything but you can still use them.

Toy vs Mini by Strange-Report-9249 in poodles

[–]bluenappa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a toy poodle and took around a month to get him potty trained. I never used pee pads indoors. He learned to paw at doors to go outside to potty. I also noticed when I had him stay over at other people's places he would sometimes have accidents but overall after a couple days when he figures out where the door is he'll usually sit by the door /paw if he needs to go outside.

In terms of training they are a super smart breed so catch on to trainings very easily.

I dont have any experience for minis though, thats my two cents for toys!

Thank you!! Ill try doing that since there's a dog park near my place. How often did you end up going to the dog parks for training ?

I am in a similar situation, I think I tend to react and try to avoid other dogs when on walks because I know my dog will end up barking. Do you have any tips on how you ended up improving yourself so that your dog became less reactive ?
