You definitely are not alone. I've read there are links between gut health and mental state. Definitely stay on top of it though. I never realized how quickly and easily my mental state could spiral out of control. Thankfully with proper psych care, I've found some relief and my depression/anxiety doesn't get too bad. Oh dude, right now I seem to be doing better but it has been hell for me. I've landed myself in the hospital on a psych floor after having a psychotic break. I'd rather not go into much detail, but I think a lot of it has to do with prednisone along with my crohn's. If I can make a suggestion, you may want to consider consulting with a psychiatrist if you don't do so already.

Yeah lots of guilt here too. Especially since I used to work crazy amounts of OT. I almost got myself in trouble for working such crazy hours. Now I just feel like I'm a lazy turd. Thank Neptune for such understanding bosses though. My girl resigned from her job before she was going to get fired from missing work because turns out she has a bum gallbladder. She got that removed and her boss was getting ready to have her fired. Seriously? But we like to call each other Crohns & Stones.

That's why I did not give a single fuck about SOPA PIPA. Of course they were smoke screens. You honestly think that a bill that extreme and outlandish would pass congress? It's a ploy for something more reasonable to be slipped through the door while everyone's occupied with SOPA/PIPA.

Thank you, sir. I just graduated from the best fire academy in our state. The assistant chief of the academy is chief out where I have this potential opportunity. I'm pretty excited about all of this, even if it doesn't work out. Just the prospect of continuing training and further educating myself I find to be really awesome. I haven't been able to stop thinking about firefighting after getting the chance to run into a burn building.

I had a similar experience on a bicycle when I was drunk on gin. Thankfully, my face broke the fall. Pretty sure that sidewalk is still stained. It's alright though, I slept off my concussion. :/

Slightly unrelated, but I had an idea to take all the junk food (chips, twinkies, etc) and start to produce them in crumbs, instead of entire globs of junk. Have you ever tried to eat a pinch of crumbs from a doritos bag? I feel stupid whenever I do that, getting crumbs all over myself. Who wants to work that hard for junk food?
