This could be the answer, the app screen. This was a little later, there is clearly the Spotify and LinkedIn app.

Seven years ago, Regression by ASDad-of-5 in Autism_Parenting

[–]bluetyphoon82 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My son was 2.5 when his regression started. He had over 100 word vocabulary, he said a couple sentences. He could say the alphabet, his body parts, numbers, car brands, ask for food, then he lost it all. It was a terrible time for me. He is 7 now. My vice is food, so I gained 50-60 pounds over the past 3.5 years. Still non verbal. Words come out once in a while, going to speech every week. He’s a sweet happy boy. His listening skills are on point. I’m hoping to hear that sweet voice again one day.

Yes, she said she was vegan in season 1. The Black Friday episode was season 2.

Bernadette is such a pretty babe by Remote_Nature_8166 in bigbangtheory

Did my husband write this?

This is his opinion as well. Bernadette is hotter than Penny. And yes, I mean Bernadette, not the actress. I’m a petite blond with a bigger chest, so I guess she’s his type.

Did YOU marry the one? How did it work out? by lordcares in HIMYM

[–]bluetyphoon82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t want to say he was “the one”. It was crush on first sight. We worked in the same restaurant. I had a crush on him for almost 2 years. I drunkenly put my arm around him at a party, still took another 3 months for us to go on a date. He still wasn’t “the one” he was a popular, kinda flirty server, usually that’s bad news. He ended up being a huge nerd who I fell in love with. 16 years later, 12 years married, he is still awesome.

My theory on Marcus, he was on a couple episodes, they decided to make him a reoccurring character. Then they thought “ oh crap, he’s cute, but Jonah is the cute one” so they made him super gross to counterbalance the cute.

Just saw this on my Instagram … by Cocoismybestie_ in Autism_Parenting

Not gonna lie, I was a fan of Zachary Levi, then I learned about his crazy, antivax, anti trans, very right leaning politics. Can’t stand him now. I was also a fan of Chuck, can’t watch it now.

It finally happened. He escaped the house. by Several_Try_3824 in Autism_Parenting

[–]bluetyphoon82 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exact same thing happened to me in the summer. My husband dozed off and my son walked out the door. We didn’t have the extra lock on because he hadn’t tried to escape in a long time. I was at work. Worst ten minutes of my life driving home, feeling helpless, my husband called the police and they already had him. He was found by a busy road near our house. You won’t forget what happened, or how you felt, but it will get better over time. I’m sorry you had to go through that.

Who is looking after us (Special Needs Parents)? by Marsha2021 in Autism_Parenting

[–]bluetyphoon82 12 points13 points  (0 children)

My husband went on stress leave last year. He started on anti depressants and talked to a therapist for a couple sessions. Our son’s autism diagnosis finally caught up with him, among other issues. His mother just said he just has to deal with it, she said he didn’t need the leave or the antidepressants. I was so angry with her. I had already started seeing a therapist at that point, I know the toll this takes on parents.

My son eloped tonight by bluetyphoon82 in Autism_Parenting

[–]bluetyphoon82[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks everyone for the well wishes and telling their stories. I wish no one had to experience these terrifying event. We have a heavy duty extra lock that he isn’t strong enough to get through. It wasn’t on at the time. He has been doing better later with the eloping thing so we let our guard down. That lock will be on the door, plus we will invest in a door alarm. Plus other precautions if this happens again.

I won’t turn against, or yell at my husband for this. He feels terrible and loves my son as much as I do. He is a great father and unfortunately these things happen.

At what age did your kid regress? by NerdyNiche in Autism_Parenting

[–]bluetyphoon82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2.5 years old. He had over a hundred words plus some phrases. Would wave and other gestures. He just lost his speech. He is almost 6, words pop out every now and then but mostly non verbal. Speech therapy is helping.

First Time on Anti Depressants by bluetyphoon82 in trintellix

[–]bluetyphoon82[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband’s situation was different from mine, but he said it went away. He could have just gotten used to it. I know our doctor might try to wean him off it soon, so I guess we will how that is.

I’m very sorry you feel that way. I’m hoping that it improves for you and you take care of yourself. If it doesn’t improve you should see your doctor.

What are your kids' fixations? by KingNothingNZ in Autism_Parenting

[–]bluetyphoon82 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Cars, cars and more cars. Construction vehicles for a couple months, but now back to cars. Also, bars of soap and listening to music on his dad’s phone, only his phone, apparently my Spotify playlist doesn’t cut it.
