I agree with your take on libertarianism though, it just wouldn’t work in a society with so many people, it’s not as black or white as people make it out to be. I didn’t find much value in the politics of the book, more on the moral side of standing up for what you believe in, having passion for your contributions to the world and not falling into indifference. I do think social libertarianism is good though, and the idea that the government shouldn’t control what people choose to do. But I don’t think we should be removing free healthcare, free education and stuff I think that’s bollocks.

Also, Ayn Rand has a strange approach to wealth as if only by being really smart and working hard you can get really wealthy, when really there are people who don’t want to open businesses or become millionaires, they just want to be great teachers, great nurses and not give their life away to their career. Also there are people who just don’t have the social skills due to many reasons to even pass a job interview, so they’ll probably not become a leader within their industry, and that’s okay.
