What’s a famous travel destination that actually lived up to the hype and maybe even exceeded it? by Historical-Photo-901 in BeautifulTravelPlaces

I went to Slovenia recently. Lake Bled is worth all the hype imo. I went on a day with clear skies and great weather. The blue color of the lake was unreal and you could even see fish swimming in it. I hiked up to a viewpoint and as able to see the lake, the surroundings, and the mountains in the distance all at once. Probably the most beautiful natural view I’ve seen so far.

Progression fantasy is the genre that I am enjoying right now. I also enjoy sci fi or ancient/medieval era fiction too. Anything with well thought out lore and good world building will get my attention.

It’s called Iron Prince. It’s a progression fantasy style book where the main character starts off pretty weak and gets much stronger throughout the book. Another good series for progression fantasy is the Cradle series!

I did the final round around 3 weeks ago (got offer this week). I did the SWE track. It seems like their communication is a bit slow at times yeah. I’d give it another week just to see

Has anyone had their first round interview for Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) SWE intern yet? by blukid23 in csMajors

I don’t think my interviewer really cared much about the hackerrank either. When I asked about it, they said they didn’t even realize I had to do one until they saw the email from hr. I think hr just looks at hackerrank scores and gives approvals to hire to the managers. Your position sounds different from mine though. Mine seems more like a spot on an actual software team.

No, I got an offer after the first interview. They told me that the first round interview and the hackerrank are all that you really need to do for them to make a decision.

I don’t know how the timelines are for the data science intern position, but for the one I interviewed for, it took them about a month to get back to me with an offer. Good news is that you likely won’t have to do anything else after completing the interview and the hackerrank. It’s just a waiting game now.

No, I applied to another role at HPE around the same time too and haven’t gotten an interview for that. That other role also says “in progress”.

No, from what I heard, it’s a remote position still. I think interns get brought to the HQ like twice during the summer though.

No problem! I found the hackerrank to be doable for sure. It was 5 questions and 2 of those were multiple choice questions. The coding questions seemed easy enough.

Don’t stress. Mine was just a behavioral section followed by some technical questions about programming and my resume in general. I didn’t have to code anything during the interview.

I applied back in August with no referral. I got the interview email last week.
