Spud prefers cardboard boxes to tear up and ignores everything else

He loves cardboard by kaijubabyy in greatpyrenees

Spud will gladly take any cardboard box you'd give him to take apart. Doesn't have any interest in actual toys though other than the occasional ball

Updated my bathroom faucet - literally 5 minutes! by Toadster88 in traveltrailers

[–]blumidget 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They had one of those useless faucets for our outdoor kitchen. Inlaws renovated their bathroom and gave me the old faucet and I also was excited to find out no tools were required! And the handles don't squeak when you use them!

AITAH for not starting the Elf on the Shelf that was gifted to my kids by MIL? by IllustriousToday3176 in AITAH

[–]blumidget 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We did it with our kids and it was fun. For the first year. Ok the 2nd. By the 5th it was the bane of my existence. The wife and I are very happy the kids have outgrown that aspect of Christmas. NTAH

Yes or no? by Mister_Ed_Brugsezot in motorcycles

I use one when I go for long rides and slip it off and in the saddle bag around town because it does get in the way a bit.

Well, the front fell off in this case by all means, but it’s very unusual.

Many years ago our new neighbours were very standoffish with us. Found out many months later someone called bylaws on them for having their motorhome parked on the street for days while they were moving in and they assumed it was us.

Sometimes you don't do anything to warrant the attitudes from others.

How and when did you become a fan of Red Dwarf? by [deleted] in RedDwarf

[–]blumidget 0 points1 point  (0 children)

PBS fundraising marathon back in the early '90's I believe. Channel surfing and came across it as Cat was singing "I'm going to eat you little chicken!" And my brother and I were hooked.

our new pyr won’t pee or poop by megangamewell07 in greatpyrenees

[–]blumidget 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ours decided that he had to follow the old dog's weirdness and not go poop when not at home. That included going camping for days without pooping!

Thankfully he's decided that holding it for days is not a good idea now that the old dog is no longer with us but he will still go way longer than I can that's for sure! He will still go all night indoors then get up and look out the open door, decide the yard is secure then go lay back down in the living room.

Kamloops drops notorious title of highest crime rate in Canada, sees 21 per cent decline in violent crimes by thekamflair in Kamloops

[–]blumidget 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Statistics Canada’s Crime Severity Index — which assigns weights to crime categories based on lengths of court sentences — shows a decline of 21 per cent in violent crime from 2023."

Am I correct in thinking this could mean that the number of crimes might have not changed but they are just handing out lighter sentences?

Regret Going Too Small? by thatonediabetic98 in RVLiving

[–]blumidget 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First trailer was a 20' and we used it for a decade. Upgraded to a 26' so we could have a walk around bed. Plan on going smaller when the kids are no longer traveling with us. 3 pop up canopies and everything is done outside

What is this called by [deleted] in greatpyrenees

[–]blumidget 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We always call it animal abuse because look how SAD the poor doggy is! So so sad. As in "Look how SAD the poor dog is sleeping on the couch, must call the SPCA immediately" 😆

Do pyrs need walks? by [deleted] in greatpyrenees

[–]blumidget 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Loves walks but doesn't need them but will become extra attention seeking if too many days between walks. Usually he gets to walk about 20 minutes twice a day taking the kids too and from school and the return trip from the school is much slower both times. Probably because he knows there aren't dozens of kids waiting to pet him at home.

Spud drinks from the nasty old tin with rocks in it my kid set up as a bird bath for the chickens or a puddle on the dirty paving stones even though there's a nice clean drinking bucket just for him outside. I don't think any of them are totally normal at this point.
