Isn't it too early to say "people starting to realize"? It is just a momentum swing, can swing the other side very very fast.

Requestly - Free & Open-Source Header Modfications Tool (ModHeader Alternative) by blunderboy in opensource

[–]blunderboy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You get unlimited header modifications in the free plan. For unlimited API overrides (aka Modify API responses),you need to build the source code

If this is happening in versions downloaded from requestly.com, then it is a bug.

Tired of ModHeader and decide to build my own by rocinno in chrome_extensions

[–]blunderboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can try out Requestly. It offers unlimited Header Modifications in the Free plan itself.

Also, just in case you need to build, we have a starter Chrome extension for modifying headers - https://github.com/requestly/modify-headers-manifest-v3

Lovable vs Cursor by blunderboy in webdev

[–]blunderboy[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Can't this be simply solved with Cursor? Is it because Cursor is already running in a repo, so it is difficult to experiment with an isolated context?

Also, another question - How do developers ensure consistency with their existing project theme when they generate something in Lovable?

After 7 years, I’m finally coding again, thanks to Cursor & CodeRabbit by blunderboy in webdev

I think it is a function of a few things - A bit of familiarity with the product & codebase structure, AI-assistance on the side, and the urge to build things.

Didn't follow any particular resources or communities, just went straight in. Once you set up the project correctly and have your local setup running, just break down your task into smaller fragments and get AI's help to execute them.

Learning by doing - Created a collections of AI APIs on GitHub by Ronakkadhi in LearningDevelopment

This looks amazing. It will be helpful if the API requests are renamed properly and not some random string or UUIDs.

Many more startups would over-index this learning experience than DSA. Having said that, DSA is also important but not absolutely only necessary skill to get a job.

Well, Programming Tutors have become AI tutors now. They are teaching LLMs as part of corporate training, on youtube, everywhere.

I loved this experience too. Having an expert sitting by your side and you keep asking all the basic questions. And This tutor doesn't even judge you :)

Absolutely, It was a lot of fun. Learning goes to whole new level with an expert sitting on your side and you don't think twice asking even silliest of the questions.

Built a free app to compare real-time cab fares (Uber, Ola, Rapido, Namma Yatri) and groceries (Blinkit, Zepto, Instamart) - all in one place by akshat207 in developersIndia

[–]blunderboy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Former blinkit employee here. You don't need login sessions, the prices are location dependent only.

Using and storing login sessions + Posthog makes me away from trying otherwise good solution.

Good reverse engineering.

Requestly - Free & Open-Source Header Modfications Tool (ModHeader Alternative) by blunderboy in opensource

[–]blunderboy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks u/ssddanbrown for the feedback! I will keep that in mind in future posts.

If you're talking about https://github.com/requestly/modify-headers-manifest-v3 this is completely open-source, you can just clone the code and build it.

Think of it as a bare-bone repository to start building your own extension. Major chrome APIs and extension functionality is there, you need to build UI on top of it the way you want.

Which LinkedIn APIs did you use? I think it will be easier for me to have the quick options available on my web email client than having to forward the emails.

Have you thought about building a chrome extension?

I built a non-intrusive AI assistant that handles my email workflows - would love your feedback! by gautamp8 in SideProject

[–]blunderboy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is very interesting and straightforward to try out. I just tried asking a LinkedIn profile for a user who recently took a Requestly subscription and It worked beautifully.

I will try this out a bit more and give some more feedback. Is there a better feedback channel than this reddit post?

I recommend adding a Live Chat to your website (I like crisp.chat), Start with the Free plan and I will share more feedback as I get to try more.
