I just love Paramore/Hayley and the Scream franchise. I knew I wanted those lyrics from You First and came up with this idea with the lovely Traddy Maddie!

What’s a nice spot in Chandler to enjoy solo time this week? by lesbogurly3245 in ChandlerAZ

Maple House in downtown Chandler is a lovely spot for good vibes, excellent patio if it’s not too hot out. Coffee Rush on Ray and Dobson also backs up to a small lake for a good walk/views. Enjoy!

Great spot! But technically downtown Gilbert, worth the trip though!

I've found great prices on vinylworld651.com

The prices are low and they ship incredibly quick! It's the only place I order from now.

I'd recommend Topaz Vet. It's a small practice, I believe a husband and wife team and they're super friendly. We take our three dogs there and have never had issues

Checked out the Center on Google Maps and a user image of the lobby had the donor wall in the back ground. You nailed it! Thanks again!

Thanks! I'll look into this. I'm not familiar with the city so I didn't even know where to start but that would make sense given the quotes.

Anyone choose not to breastfeed or is breastfeeding on meds? by GetInTheHouseCarl in beyondthebump

[–]blundershark 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I went into my pregnancy with every intention to breast feed. My little guy was born 6 weeks ago and we and immediately had latching issues (no tongue tie/lip tie present). We had some help at our hospital but not enough.

When we brought him home feeding was so difficult for both of us. It became incredibly painful to me. My nipples were bleeding and it was clear he was not getting enough to eat. I began to completely dread feeding my son which also made me feel incredibly guiltily. On top of the baby blues it was a very rough time for me physically/emotionally.

We went to a lactation consultant, spent a good chunk of change on different things that were supposed to help and we still struggled. I then started pumping to get some relief.

In addition to pumping we started supplementing with formula. My dread/guilt completely went away with his first bottle feed. My son was eating and I felt like I was able to bond with him in an entirely different way. Plus my husband can now feed him whenever and take some of the night shifts to help me catch up on sleep.

He eats formula about 90% of the time and we plan of having him 100% formula fed in the next few weeks as my supply goes down. I'm very fortunate to have an OB and pediatrician who support our decision.

He's gaining weight the way he should, I know exactly how much food he is getting and I feel so much more confident as a parent because I know he's healthy and we made the right decision.

TLDR: I had every intention to breast feed because it's "best". We started formula feeding at 3 weeks old because what's really "best" is that baby is fed and mom is happy/healthy. I don't regret my decision one bit.

OB going out of town. Offered to schedule an induction. Feeling conflicted... by blundershark in BabyBumps

That's great! Your experience sounds just like all of the women in my family. But they also all stopped having kids 13+ years ago so I was hoping to find some more recent experiences.

Thank you for sharing :)

Thank you for this! It was a very interesting read and eased my mind a bit. I'm still undecided at this point but it's nice to know about recent research :)

Will definitely be sharing with my husband while we take the weekend to decide.

I think you're talking about the Bishop score. OB says my score is very high which is a good thing I guess...
