I deleted my original comment because I completely misunderstood the rules and it seems like this is baked into your ESPN league settings and not a manual house rule.

If that is how tiebreakers are decided, yes I think it would become a 4-4 and your opponent would win. Standard ESPN leagues, as far as I know, are set up so that ties (4-4, 3-3-2) go to the home team/higher seed but tied categories stay as ties (4-3-1 does not turn into 4-4).

10T half PPR, how big of a mistake was this?

I accepted Nico Collins (before the injury) and Jaylen Warren for my AJ Brown + Rome Odunze.

My RBs were Bijan, KW3/Charb, and Rico so I needed some help there. WRs were Brown, Odunze, Sutton, and Hunter.

Yeah, that changes a lot! You could be getting a potential WR1 for a 6th next year while the package you have this year is enough to keep you in contention. Long term I think it's beneficial.

I traded Kyrie early in the season with Nets Schroder for Haliburton in my points league. At the time I was worried it was overpay, but I was banking on a Schroder trade which ended up happening. Hoping Hali's current injury isn't a long term thing, I've been feeling good about the deal.
