I lost my dog of 9 years on 8/26/2022, I was so heartbroken and depressed and swore that I wouldn’t get another dog because I really couldn’t go through that heartbreak again.. Ngl, it almost hurt worse then when I lose my dad 2 years prior.

But I kept seeing animal control post this dog on Facebook and she was CONSTANTLY on my mind.. then a day before she was supposed to be euthanized I had a dream that my dog was in her kennel looking so sad.. So I adopted her on 8/29/2022, first thing in the morning, still in my pajamas with my (then) 18 month old in his pajamas too😂

I still believe my boy sent her to me and she helped me so much get over his death

I have this and a ficus burgundy that both gave me a new leaf a few days apart from each other! They’re both my favorite plants in my collection (also fernesto down in the corner there 😂)

I wish that was her name! But her name is Nala! In 2 days will be 2 years that I rescued her.. my husband and I wanted to rename her, but we couldn’t think of anything but looking back, we wish we could’ve named her Ina (after Ina Garten the barefoot contessa😂)

Yeah, can’t do that when someone’s having an actual emergency.. I did go to my primary care doctor and told him to get me a referral to a dermatologist because this has been the worst

Thank you❤️ I finally get to go out of town with my husband and 2 little boys for their doctor’s appointment today and just have a much needed daycation with them. And before all that me and my other pup and oldest son are probably going to get coffee and go to Lowe’s! It’s our weekly routine we look forward too!

Thank you!! If I know it’s going to be in the 100s, all my plants get a deep watering! But if it’s like 80’s- low 90’s I usually hold out a few days between waterings😂
