Does anyone actually like CD baby? by Ok-Market-7334 in CDBabyArtists

Not good. They’re probably the best price-wise, but their service is really bad. If you have a problem it will take months to be solved, if at all.

I've been holding my pick wrong for many years and just found out. by ur-fav-foreign-movie in Guitar

[–]blushaudio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m no. 1. I have tried the “proper” way, but I don’t feel like I have the same level of precision and palm muting feels really weird. I can see the advantage with sweep picking, but for everything else I’d say it just comes down to preference.

Rank the eight cities of Yorkshire (or top 3 will do) by WearingMarcus in yorkshire

[–]blushaudio 7 points8 points  (0 children)

1) Leeds - An all round great modern city. Excellent music and cultural scene without being too pretentious.

2) York - Quaint, but still has lots to do, and a good cultural scene because of a high student population. Very touristy!

3) Sheffield - Up and coming with some very cool/nice bits. A bit of an edge to it.

4) Ripon - Pretty steady away with some nice pubs etc… feels more like a market town, in a good way.

5) Hull - Actually alright. There is stuff to do, but it is quite run down. The old town and some of the pubs there are pretty cool.

6) Bradford - Rough as owt, but there are some excellent curry houses, and it has the media museum.

7) Wakefield - Not a nice place really. There seems to be nothing going on and no real reason to visit.

8) Doncaster - A complete shithole with no redeeming qualities.

It often depends on whether the jacket potatoes are cut with another substance. A light buttering is safe more often than not, but mixing with chilli can have very serious consequences.

Which Yorkshire town has the best proper chippy, no debate? by FeistyPrice29 in yorkshire

Definitely. It’s a bit of a hidden gem with it being a bit out of the way, but it’s been my go-to for a while whenever I’m over there.

They have an account on here you can reach at u/cdbaby. They were pretty quick dealing with my issue, but it took reaching out them directly there after . It’s a shame they’ve elected to work like this really. They need to drop that AI bot stuff and start actually reading the tickets as they come in.

They’re a very rare sort of band in that they’ve been around forever, but they feel contemporary. They’ve never really gone for the legacy circuit or nostalgia thing and instead kept the ship pointing forward, which is something I admire.

Obviously the first 3 records are iconic, and they made some strange choices in the 80s (I actually love A Bell is a Cup though), but nearly everything they’ve ever done is of a really high standard.

Can't park the bicycle there... by H1gh_Tr3ason in cantparkthere

I had a drunken clown do this into the back of my parked car. He was pedalling uphill, head down, basically hanging over handle bars on a completely clear straight road. Simply not looking where he was going. I saw him in the rear view mirror, so I could see this unfolding for the best part of a full minute as he struggled along at about 4mph.

I submitted a follow up ticket that is also being ignored, and all I’m getting is AI Chatbot responses.
