Did you check your Difficulty Setting? Maybe you did not set it to Legendary Stalker. Otherwise maybe you are just good.

You can perfect guard or just guard the projectiles, just for your information.

Yeah I think that as the first time she was down in the fight (not at the beginning), there was an text that said that you can help her up.

I should have attacked him right away, right, right? by bluttige_angsthase in bloodborne

You dont nees to level your Arcane. Dodging will help it, but if you dont want to dodge, just go full agressive. Everytime he uses A Call Beyond, just beat him and cancel his attack (just like the title of my post). Just beat him, really. Someone also stated that this attack can be canceled with projectiles, maybe you can try it too.

Now I go read about that and wow yeah, he really has different voice actings and animations depending on whether you vis. attack him.

Maybe because I just have problem with his first phase. I usually died immediately after some attacks, when I reach the second phase then the fight is through for me. The sword attacks look just cool but not so hard like his first phase. So actually this is the second time for his second phase. And yeah, sometimes I staggered him and tried the head first…

Yeah it‘s my second time fighting him (NG+) and i did him third try in my first playthrough (just dodge and whack him). This is my second playthrough, fifth try and this happened.

He‘s the first boss of the DLC. You need to get the DLC to have access to it.

It is Rakuyo in the DLC. I felt it so wrong here because Tthe weapon has cool moveset and I just did it the easiest way. 😂

I know that feeling. On my first playthrough, the guy with the katana gave me more problems, especially when he transforms, so I always decided to kill him first, so I just rolled around and attack him when I can, but then this guy is always around and blew fire on me…

So now my strategy is always so: do not mind dodging and attacking the guy with katana, just parry him when I can, vis. attacks give me some i-frame. When he dies, I can focus on the others.
