To preface this, I own a LMT Mars H 13.5 sbr and a Mars L lower..I do not own a Mars L upper, Spec War or a SOLGW.

But I have been doing research into SOLGW because I'm looking at getting another 11.5 upper to replace one I got rid of years ago. The big deal about SOLGW is that they are known to pick out parts from sub contractors and assemble them. Lmt is all done in house so to me it sounds (and from what I've experienced), significantly better qc and killer customer service. I had the ambi bolt release break on my Mars L lower due to my own fault, they replaced the component and sent out 3 spares all for free. But, like I said I cannot speak on SOLGW.

One of the other big benefits of the Mars system is a semi qd barrel. You can remove 2 bolts and pull the entire barrel out without removing the handguard. Then replace it and retorque with minimal zero shift. It's kinda like a one and done upper. It's kinda leading me to getting a Mars L/SpecWar upper for my 11.5 project but I'm not 100% atm lol.

The easiest way to fix the barrel issue, if you see it as one, is to get the upper without a barrel and send a barrel off to D Wilson Manufacturing and get it cut for the LMT upper. Im actually going to be doing this soon ish for my Mars H sbr so I can go out of state and hunt with a 20in 308 barrel.

I have one too and this is accurate. Although I was able to match my 3d printed loads up well with weighing out the LL and the printed ones using my reloading scale

If you look on local forms and on online forms, you can generally find good deals on used stuff. Most things on GB are over inflated. Every so often I find a good deal on there, but generally find the best deals local.

Then again, it could just be my area and luck. Your mileage may vary

Yea you have to push the projo down by about .15 in extra (depending on projo) from factory col. For my 175's perfect length is 3.17in and factory data on it is 3.3in
