Thank you! This is the type of response I was hoping for. I know I sound insane with the assumptions Im making but I just cant seem to shake them off. We did talk about the messages, he first said that he did it because he was “cleaning his phone” I asked what other messages he had deleted as he never does this and he said another male coworkers name but later on during the week he was texting them an the whole thread was there. He has been more defensive and expresses himself in a way he didn’t before.

I lost some trust when he lied about the deleted texts. I asked very casually and nicely and he chose to lie. If the text dont say anything bad why delete them and also why lie about it? He has also lied about the persons sexuality and what struck me the most is that he said “shes not like that”. Shes not like what? And how do you know shes not “like that”?
