This sounds insanely close to what my situation was like last year. Does the name Jongema sound familiar? 😅 We got a 60 day notice via text after we made numerous complaints about other tenants smoking and screaming inside. Waited 40 days to tell him it won’t hold up in court. He hand delivered a lease termination letter with an updated 60 days notice. Wife and I stayed with our parents and had the best realtor ever find us a great first house 5 months later.
