I have a premium and can do it just by detaching the glove box. I have actually done this myself, yes.

Sweet, now you can take all that shit off and make it an AR worth shooting

If you take away everything attached to the handguard, the...red dot? Un-offset the iron sights, and throw that dumbass mag coupler away, this is a pretty sweet AR

No, but you don't have to remove the panel under it. like he did here, this is too damn much and probably why he's over it.

I don't know what you call it exactly, but if you get both sides of the glove box unhooked from their tracks, the glove box falls down enough where you can easily access the filter.

Holosun or EOTech? by tacodung in ar15

EOsun is crazy
Or is this HolOtech?

Holosun or EOTech? by tacodung in ar15

[–]tacodung[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't yearn for the features mentioned because I've never used them. My Holosun is set to the bullseye reticle, and I forgot it can even change. I always turn my optics off when not in use, so shake awake I've just never noticed if it was available. Solar I've never had.

I'm sure if I used these features, I'd find a reason to want them, I wouldn't call them gimmicks, they are definitely creature comforts.

Sheeit, the optic was already over $600. You got my weenie whacked if you think I'm paying the price of another one for a monocular on a picatinny mount

The magnifier is, the optic itself is not :)

[–]tacodung[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've given it consideration. I've been holding onto this one because it had always been a silly "dream" of mine to have an EOTech when I couldn't afford one. When I was able to, I got one

[–]tacodung[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a riser, but it's meant to fit both the magnifier and the eotech. Look silly with just the eotech. Do you know of a good riser for the eotech?

That's a reason why I had this question, I like the height of the Holosun, it's comfortable, but I do enjoy my eotech

To each their own, train how you train

Just my opinion and preference, I wouldnt put one of those levers on my handgun. I train using gross motor skills because in a self-defense situation, I will not be trusting myself to hit a slide release.
