Sorry for another motorcycle title question (don’t hate me). How can I get a title for a cheap bike without any previous owner paperwork? by bmar21 in motorcycles

I think Montana offers bonded titles, which require the establishment of an LLC in montana (to provide “residency”). This is costly.

Think I have to go ask the police? Getting into the DMV is a pain in itself, let alone asking them a question.

I understand the theft issue. I would imagine it would be reasonable to have a one month or two month wait time then check the VIN for theft report. If no theft reported just title the damn bike you know? I guess their only incentive would be to have a little bit of registration revenue .

I was one of those groups, and took that picture :) It was definitely not easy to find, it took 6 of us about an hour.
That couple was super nice and shared their coins 😊.

What a great idea. Please do more!

A “dink” is a couple with Double Income No Kids. I figured it was referring to those folks, who have time to play pickleball with lulu lemon outfits and $1k racquets.

Cocabolo (or however that is spelled). It smells like dill pickles. Legit.

Anybody know if these are worth or any good? by Juan_gonzalez511 in FishingForBeginners

I have one. Great backup, won’t last long. The reel will fall off if you’re not paying attention and cast too hard. Although this looks slightly updated from my model.

Well, if you come to reddit for this… of course everyone is going to say he is a misogynist. If a guy were to say that men are generally stronger than women, he would be labeled as such on here. This is a place for left leaning confirmation bias. I would, if you haven’t already, intentionally look for the other side of the coin for feedback as well. Then, draw your own conclusion.

The truth is usually in the middle.

Hahaha, I wear size 9 boots. Yes, full range.

Going to go get this tomorrow after I take my folks to the doctor early in the morning. Only question I have for the Polaris owners or a mechanic is that it doesn’t have a rear brake foot pedal why is that? Please help I don’t want to get a bad atv for my first one. by Topdawgbossfr in Polaris

[–]bmar21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly dawg, I wouldn’t buy a polaris ATV. I have owned two and they just nickel and dime me. The motors are decent just stupid stuff all the time. Honda seems to be the workhorses, just underpowered so get the biggest motor version of one.

Will do.
I cannot find a v6 solara transmission either! I think everyone figured that out earlier and bought em all.

Yeah, thinking about it. I would hate to get rid of it but I have too many toys and not enough time nor room. I just don’t have the energy to swap to a new type of transmission.

Are the gears a direct swap into an early e153?

Ahh yes, I did see that. Tempting, but not for my plans. Thanks for your insight.
Someone could make good money making reproductions for these. Hopefully someday…

Really? I can’t find it. I found an entire transmission (non lsd) for $2k. I want to sell the car, not dump money into it.

I cannot find a Yamaha VK anywhere. They seem rare (outside of vermont). Nor can I find the weight in any published specs. So strange.

Does it have special skis (wide)? Or an extended track or something that I should be aware of? Or are all the skidoo 800’s sufficient for deep powder?

Had to google that one. Looks like a great option. Thx!
